    Default Is this pole okay?

I'm looking at getting one of these:

Does it look sturdy? I'm a complete beginner but I'll probably be using it every day and I want to learn to do the advanced stuff so I need one that'll hold up Since I know nothing, I wanted to get some second opinions before I bought it!

I have a Lil Mynx and it looks like that. If I take it down, there is a plant holder to disguise where it fits in the ceiling, like the one they have in the picture. Although, I can't really take it up and down real easily but my male roommate can. It's too heavy for me. If it is a 'lil mynx, then yes, it's real sturdy for any kind of poletricks. I have had no problems with it.

I'm going to go with no. Besides, get a brass! And if you don't want brass, get stainless steel. That pole is just painted.

It's not a lil mynx, it's just some guy custom making them. I sent him a question asking about it's sturdiness.. I want a pole sooo bad!!

It's not just about sturdiness, though. The material the pole is made of is very important. Different metals will affect the ease of grip and swing and whatnot.

I don't think I would trust that. Save your money and buy a pole from a reputable place. My pole was $300. What if it's made wrong and you fall off and have to miss a few days of work because of injuries? Unless you can test it out in person, I wouldn't get a random pole from the Internet.

Stainless steel is fine. It's a little more slippery, but a little more durable. The pole at P10 is brass. I would recommend getting the same.

Mine is a Platinum Stages One piece removable, and I looooooove it! I would definitely recommend them. They had good customer service with me, especially considering I was a dumbass. Measure your ceiling REALLY REALLY PRECISELY! And if for some reason it's wrong, make sure that you send ONLY the pole back, not the flanges, and not the screw thingy!

Good! I'm so glad you decided to go with a Lil Mynx! I got mine last November (it only took like a week to come, even with Thanksgiving being part of that week) and I still use it all the time. I think you will be very happy.

Take a look at our Poles. We are nothing like the one you are talking about on ebay.

Looks like a Lil Mynx knock off. What do you know about knock offs? THEY ARE NEVER AS GOOD AS THE REAL THING! Besides, Lil Mynx poles aren't even the best IMO.

Go ahead if you are being cheap. But if you want a real pole to learn on, you need to check out this http://www.polechamp.com/index.php?o...id=1&Itemid=72

I did some research and I think lil mynx will work well for me. I've heard very good things about it, and a lot of ladies on here have them and say they are great. Mine should be here tomorrow or Wednesday!!

yeah that pole is powder coated, you wont be able to grip that for anything. and then the paint will most likely chip off after a while. good choice on the lil mynx.

I like the Platinum Stages removable pole. They have shit customer service, but if you stay on top of them, you'll have a good outcome.

My stainless steel Lil' Mynx does what it's supposed to do so I'm happy with it. I only wish I'd gotten the kind that comes apart in peices... would make my life a lot easier.

I want to get a pole soon. I want one that spins and is removable. And I need to find out what the one at work is made of so that I can make sure to get the same kind.

    Does anyone have this one?

    what color did you get?

I like the x-poles because I move alot and would need something adjustable, and I think they're pretty
