    Default Frequent Periods

Ever since I started dancing, I've been getting frequent periods. I got it twice in a month & it hasn't even been 3 weeks & I got my period again. Does this happen to any1 else?

My cycles are off the wall too, or were, i havent had one since August. But mine would go by or coinside with females that I'm around. Seriously...it happens, even with my mares, or females horses. they'll even out I'm sure.Scientifically, which makes me wretch...it's supposed to make things easier for the male to pro-create and so on, get it all done at once, at least with animals, but i heard dominant females always cycle first, then all will follow. I see it with my horses and in places I've worked worked.

Ugh! So f-in' annoying >:/ I've taken birth control pills but those never stopped my periods or made them less frequent. While on birth control, I had my period for a whole month

I hate the "females cycle together" thing, but it seems to hold true. Before I started dancing, I really didn't hang around girls much, and with my pill I happened to get my period every 3 months. Now with dancing, hanging out with girls constantly, the variations in physical stress...my period is more random. Sometimes it's every other month, sometimes it's every month, sometimes I'll have it and then 2wks later everyone else will have theirs & mine will decide to come back. Sometimes it's affected by my physical activity levels (it always has been, but now my physical activity isn't just from no exercise to a little exercise, it could be from slow work nights to a sudden nonstop weekend).

It's like my body wants to keep running on its "once every 3mo" cycle that's normal for it, but at the same time it feels the need to also have a period during bouts of drastic stress change, drastic physical workout change, and times when everyone else is on theirs.
It's funny you mention stress. I was suppose to hang out with this guy today who really likes me but I don't like him & I've only been hanging out with him 'cause I feel really bad but in doing so, it caused me to stress & be frustrated because I couldn't do the things I wanted to do. & today, I had such a heavy period. I had to change tampons 3 times in 1 day & I've never had to do that. When he decided to reschedule our hang out, my heavy flow stopped. Odd

you may want to start charting your cycles, to separate spotting out from periods. you may be having longer cycles with midcycle spotting, rather than "frequent periods".
