I've been in the biz for a few years now and seem to attract a certain type of customer. Nerdy/techie guys, older educated types, Asians are the ones I always make a beeline for. Mexicans, Blacks and meaty (as in big) midwestern guys usually find me a bit too foreign (especially with my British accent).
Needless to say, I've had a few exceptions though my intuition is nearly always right. I do hustle other guys when I've exhausted the other options.
In my opinion, knowing your market is a great hustling technique and will limit the number of rejections and time wasters.
Do you practice this technique too?

haha. and by that i mean the late 20s-early30s type that will come in with friends once or twice a year and buy a few tabledances or few VIPS. not usually bigspenders, but usually polite guys. in my town it seems most oldguys (aka wallet) like the bigboobs (usually the obviously fake ones) and blonde hair. of which i am not. and lately it seems most guys (young and old) are coming into the club to get off.... not to spend time with lovely women. BUT if you find the ones that just want company and affection then i believe it doesnt matter if you are their type or not. your personality and sharp hustle should convince them to spend.

About the personality change. I do that as well. If they are fast-talking New Yorkers, mirroring their speech (without making it too obvious) and attitude helps. The same with languid Southerners.

And men of color, Mexicans, Black guys, Middle Eastern alllll like me, but more to hit on me than spend lots of money. And girls always like me. I get asked if I'm a lesbian a lot, so maybe I'm putting out some gay vibe?
