Default I'm not sure where to put this- question about making a headpiece

ok, I recently purchased two real ram horns that measure roughly 23 in. a piece. I want to make a head piece out of it, but I have no idea how to mount it. I'm thinking I should mount it on a headband, but with what? will a regular thick and wide headband do?

these are what the horns are like, btw: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=350065296544

ok, my crafty girls, help me out!

not sure, actually, they're not here, yet. I'm thinking I need to find a sturdy metal headband and then screw 'em in. where the hell do I find a metal headband, though?

I would think that there might be a problem with keeping the headband on your head. The horns' weight may cause the headband to overbalance.

i think they will be too heavy for a headband. maybe fix them onto a wig somehow? id imagine youd have to use a bazillion pins to keep the wig on, but it might be more secure than a band since its affixed to the entire head.

yeah, the photographer and I are gonna get together when they come in and try to make this thing work. it's been done before, 'cos I' saw it on a runway. apparently it's ridiculously heavy. it should be cool, though!
