OK I walked around collecting tips after my stage set when I approached a VIP table of four morose-looking losers.
Me: Hi guys! *smile*
Them: no reaction.
Me: Did you guys enjoy my show?
Them: nothing.
Me: Hello? How are you? Do you guys have any social graces?
Loser #1: (Sarcastically) Nice shorts (I had on my super-short denim shorts I get tons of compliments on)
Me: Oooh, I see you have a bottle of Grey Goose here. (Taking the bottle).
Loser #2 Wanna drink?
Me: No, I would just like a hello from you and a dollar for my show.
Them: No reaction.
Me: OK! BYE! (Taking bottle of Grey Goose with me and setting it behind the bar.)
Then while "de-dollaring" myself at the bar, their cocktail waitress came over to me and asked about the bottle. I told her they were being dicks so I took their bottle and if they wanted it back then I'll take it back. She ran it back to the table instead.
*FIVE MINUTES LATER*
I get called into the managers office.
Me: Am I in trouble?
Manager: Um, did you do something that would get you into trouble?
So I told them what happened. The manager had a talk with me about not letting rude customers get to me, how they don't have to tip or say hello if they don't want to, that basically since they were VIP customers they were spending money on the club and what I did really pissed them off and now it is costing the club money because some girl (me) decided to walk with their bottle. Then the doorman joined in and said that if I feel disrespected by a customer, then I should tell them and they will take care of it. The manager said he was on the verge of tearing up my contract. I apologized for screwing with the club's money and for crossing the line. He let me off with a warning, which is cool, as I am a good entertainer there and rarely do I cause problems or drama or let people get to me.
At the end of the night I tipped out the cocktail waitress for the trouble and loss I may have caused her and apologized. She appreciated it.

I relearned that it is not worth putting my job on the line for "getting even" or screwing with losers.
But I'm sorry, I know there are guys who come in to basically treat the women like shit to make themselves feel better, but I don't care what amount of money you spend, if you can't treat the women with respect, then seriously, don't expect to have fun.
I wanted to teach them respect, but I crossed the line and messed with the club's money when I should have ignored the losers or enlisted the help of a bouncer instead. I know that 2 wrongs don't make a right, but I am so tired of the bullshit. And I am tired of people thinking that they can get away with this behavior.
But I really don't like the "they are spening money on the club so they can treat you like shit if they want to" mentality. Fuck that. I don't think it's right.
Next time I encounter losers like that I'll ignore them or tell a door guy to deal with them. I AM glad that those fuckers got pissed and will not ever come back.
I feel bad today. I didn't mean to mess with the club or waitress's money, but these fuckers are messing with my money, and they are treating me with disrespect, and I really did nothing to deserve it.
I think I am also burned out on dancing and I really want to move on to my next job, and it is really frustrating me. I'm taking a few days off and laying low. I just feel like shit.
