Default Waiting a couple of years after a BA to get pregnant?

I keep going back and forth on this. I have to get a benign tumor taken out of my boob which will leave a dent in it. I wanted to get that taken out and implants put in in one shot so I am not left with misshapen deformed boobs.

I don't have kids yet, I want to have them in the future. If I get a BA now should I be ok if I wait a couple of years before having kids. Or should I just wait?
I can't decide what to do. What would you do?

I remember seeing Adrienne Curry on the My Fair Brady show on VH1
she said she had to choose between "getting her boob job and a baby"....
haha this is how I feel. She went ahead and did it, so I guess
    she decided to wait.

Is two years a good enough stretch after getting them put in to have a kid?
Maybe I should just wait until the kids are all finished. I'd like to have at least
    two children.

From what I have read on the internet pregnancy will not affect a boob job
that bad, its really a toss up of what will happen though.

Just from your post, I would personally reccommend getting the BA and worrying about kids later. Since you don't have an immediate plans to have them I can't see how having them a year or more after the BA would impact the results?

    Best of luck to you!

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

i'd get the b.a. first. if you think your'e going to be unhappy with your chest after you get the tumor removed (which by the way sucks, sorry you have to go through this!) then i'd go ahead and get the b.a. so that you are happier with yourself, and then have kids whenever that comes up in your life. from the posts on here those that have had kids after having implants their chest still looks awesome!

I had a baby after BA and as you might expect, they didn't emerge unscathed, but considering the devastation my first pregnancy/breastfeeding experience left me with (the reason for the BA in the first place), I'm not unhappy. I'd had them for 4 years by that point, and expect that at some point in the future I'm going to need to get them fluffed up again anyway. The only reason to maybe wait would be if you really want to nurse your baby because the implants *could* present some problems there.

I would say just get them. Are you in a relationship where yall are talking about children? If not you may not have kids for 4 years, I mean who knows.

I don't know any statistics on this but, some peoples boobs snap right back after pregnancy and if you are one of those luckies your implant will most likely be fine. If you're one of the women whose breasts really sag your going to need a lift (unless you go really big, and from what I read a lot of women don't feel like it was enough to fix sagging). I'd rather have nice boobies for 2,4,8 years and then get a lift after pregnancy like I would have to anyways I had waited to get implants.

This question really is up to you. You alone know how bad you really want this. Are you willing to wait a couple years even after pregnancy because you won't be able to hold the baby during recovery, or if you breast feed. Will you even have the money or be able to justify spending thousands of dollars on yourself after you have kids that need food, clothes, toys? What if you want to have more children after that one down the road? You could end up waiting a REALLY long time.

The only reason I wish I would have waited is that I had issues with breastfeeding - a few of the ducts were damaged so I didn't produce enough milk.

If you are comfortable with that possible outcome I would get them as soon as you'd like to. My breasts look perfect post-baby and I still adore them!

i had a girlfirend i worked with who got pregnant 4 months after her BA. they looked fine IMO but one of her implants shifted and seemed to be coming out the outside wall a bit. it was not noticeable to me but she hated it.

Thanks girls Im not in a relationship now,let alone in one where we are all ready discussing having children. I think it will take a LONG
time to find the right guy that I want to procreate with. If I get a BA done
I won't be going too much larger than my own natural size, so they won't get too stretched out.
Now if im going to get this I need to get in shape first. No carbs or sweets, ahhh the horror!
