Do I have to tell him/her that I'm a stripper or can I just say part-time model?

Models get checks, don't they?
I don't see the harm in telling them you're an entertainer. It's not their job to judge you, right?

^ Yeah, I get checks from my agency... I wish we got paid in cash!
Hrm I know you get checks w/an agency, but some jobs I've looked into actually offer you cash that day...same w/promo jobs.
That's true tho, what you said. I guess I just don't want people trying to mess w/me when it comes to my finances. I don't want them to get the idea in their heads that I'm just a dumb stripper who doesn't know any better and then they try to fuck w/me. Then again, I really don't know any better...or else I prolly wouldn't be goin to them :-/

The write-offs might be a bit different - do models get write-offs for clothes/shoes/makeup? I'm sure alot of people would assume that some of that would be provided by the shoot, although it really isn't for us.
To be honest, call me stupid, but I don't care so much about the write-offs. Many of the clothes I buy to strip in are from "normal" stores, and I thought that makeup didn't pass the housewife test. I did think about that, though.
I mainly just want to pay taxes and cover my bases without triggering an audit by possibly trying to write off something that I shouldn't. I'd rather give a little more and not get back what I should than be audited.
