    Default Personal magnetism/raw sex appeal

In the pretty thread someone mentioned Frida Kahlo and another famous ugly sexy woman. We all know some not-so-pretty people who just radiate sex appeal, right?

Looks are fleeting. I don't feel like working out or tanning. I feel like improving my animal sex appeal. How?

Confidence...that is KEY. And I think you have it in spades along with the sex appeal!

Staying on topic though, Uma Thurman would be on my list of "ugly chicks I donno why I find attactive"..big nose, long face, frog eyes, amazon-ish looking, among other things I don't find attractive in women. There's just something about her though...like an aura of sorts?

The odd thing I've noticed about magnetism/ charisma is that it does radiate from within, you can almost feel it in the air...I'm not sure how or why....For example, my mom has been severely mentally ill for years but she still has an appealing aura about her, despite the loss of her youthful beauty. If I could bottle what she has, I'd make more as a dancer. (Probably have a felony record though. LOL)

How to enhance it? The first thing that came to mind was the tip from Tom Robbins' "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues"- wipe CLEAN vaginal secretions behind your ears. Wear clothing with sensual textures (velvets, leather/suede) and "warm" colors.

& Focus your attention on people- in a non- edgy way. An old axiom of Southern hospitality is IF you act ill at ease with a person, he or she will assume they are the cause of your ill- humor. So lavish attention on people, Southern belle style.

Ditto CK....confidence is golden. Check out the book "The Art of Seduction" by Robert Greene. It's got great stuff for both sexes. One example he uses is Marilyn Monroe. She wasn't stunning by any means looks-wise in her day but she WAS the hottest thing in town because of her charm, radiance, etc.... things outside of nature that you have control over.

Uma Thurman in the movie Gattaca, is 1 of the most stunning faces i've ever seen. In Kill Bill not so much but when she's done up she's very beautiful imo.

When concidering magnetism, one SW girl I've met in particular comes to mind: KIKIWIKI.

She is naturally very beautiful..but I've seen her with no makeup an wearing glasses, sick with a cold and hair in a messy bun..and she was still sexy.
For some reason..this girl has just got it. Even my boyfriend says he'e never met someone with her sex appeal before. She exudes sexiness and magnetism. Maybe cause she's sweet and kind and funny and goofy and sexy all at the same time? I'm not sure....
I hope she pops into this thread and tells us her secret.

It's a mixture of physical attractiveness, personal charm, empathy, confidence, humor and strength as well as that person's ability to make you feel at ease, genuinely flattered, the center of attention and ever-so-slightly emotionally seduced.

It's a learned behavior or skill. Your own susceptibility to the person's physical magnetism -- beauty, stature, scent, touch and humor -- are unique, so some "have it" for you, while others don't. The learned part, though, is all about making the conversation about you; making you the most fascinating person in the world.

I can't believe I'm actually writing this out for people who do this for a living.

The kind that resonates and lives on outside the club is mastered by actors, musicians, politicians and performers of all kinds. It has stronger elements of confidence, knowledge, control and the ability to project authority and calm when surrounded by chaos or panic.

This thread made me think of somene I knew who had a lot of personal magnetism and sex appeal- even though she wasn't the convential Westernized model of beauty (she was an "Indian" Mexican- really tiny, dark-skinned, with a creased face from a life of hard work and caring for others.)

I was at her house once and she had her husband give her a back-rub after she drank some alcohol (medicinal dose)......I remember watching her appreciate the back rub & feeling indecent for seeing something "intimate" (I was really young at the time but I knew somehow she was expressing something intense.) She was not afraid to show her appreciation and pleasure.

She passed away a few years ago and her funeral was full of people who remembered how much she cared for others and made them feel special.

I guess I'm saying the source of magnetism is to make entice others with motivators other than force and fear....Like empathy and generosity. Many of us here are scarred from tough lives and it's so easy to come at everyone with hackles up...But this is counterproductive.

    Dat was me.

I don't think it's any accident that both of them had a passion for something, painting and writing respectively. It's that sort of "lit from inside" cliche that plays out (hey, it's a cliche for a reason, right?).

They were having some success, and that kind of energy is an aphrodisiac, period.

Also, both of them didn't fight what they were; they capitalized on it. Big-time personality quirks and style quirks. I don't think they toned down any number of things about themselves, so there was authenticity combined with "fuck you-ism." Yet this strikes me as different from what strippers do, because they weren't thinking in terms of the marketability of their sex appeal and bodily assets; on the Venn diagram, there are overlaps, of course.

From all indications, both liked sex and went after the people to whom they were attracted. They evidently thought it was an important part of their personhood and acted as such. I don't think you would get inhibited vibes from either.

I have to wonder if their energy would have worked in a SC.
