    Default big buts

    Well my butt is a pretty nice size. definitely has a bit of a bubble to it.
    But i was wondering if any one knew of any stregnth moves that could possibly make it look even bigger??

    Im not talking J Lo proportions..maybe more like trish stratus (now thats my ideal!!!) im sure its not possible but damn, its seriously ridiculously nice.

    Squats with weights would help firm it up and build the muscle underneath.

    Lunges (with weights in hand) help a lot too.

    Also losing fat on the back and lovehandles makes the butt look way bigger. Everytime I lose weight my butt appears so much bigger because there is less fat around it.
    I know thats not the answer you're looking for but definately lose extra weight you might be surprised.

    ^^^ It's true! The loss of fat makes the muscle extra defined and isolated, and thus extra bubbly.

    I am so on my weight loss program and I can already see my booty getting bigger. I just need to incorporate lunges and squats with free weights into my workout. I just want a small waist and a nice round rump.

    I read somewhere awhile back that Jennifer Lopez hugs a basketball against her chest with both arms, and runs up a tall staircase. Hugging the basketball keeps her from pumping her arms, so her upper rear thighs and her glutes have to do all the work and they get super-muscular as a result. Bicycling also gives you a nice tight heinie!

    Interesting. Yeah someone told me the best workout for the ass is the stairs.

    Y'all loose weight, and your ass gets BIGGER? Most of my weight GOES to my ass/thighs when I gain.

    Sounds like my friend who runs and looses weight, and her boobs grow. She says it's from "circulation".

    This is what I do: I wrap my leg with ankle weights, get on my hands and knees, squeeze my calf of the weighted leg to my hamstring, and lift. It's like the poor-man's way to get the results a butt-blaster machine might give you. Use as much weights as humanly possible.

    Popping your cheeks hard about 50 times each side/day helps as well.

    Mine does. Actually, it doesn't get bigger, it just looks bigger. Stuff fits me looser, so I don't think it's growing or anything. But I decided I want to be curvy instead of just skinny, so I'm going to start incorporating ass moves into my workouts to build a nice ass, my butt has always been small.

    ^^^ Yes, I know what you mean! I'm loosing weight too, and while I can't help that my tits are sailing away, I want to keep whatever booty i have, or at least try!

    Gah I need to pay my gym membership one of these days... so I can use the weights. I use none here at home..

    Take a towel in your hands and hold it out with both arms extended. Then try your squats, you will feel the difference. Also it may be the way your back is positioned.

    Eh, maybe I'm the only one... But, since I dropped a few pounds, my ass has actually gotten smaller I've lost weight off my mid-section too... but my butt's def. not as bubbly as it use to be.

    I drastically changed my diet; no sugar, no flour and I'm terrified that I'm gonna drop weight and I like the fat that I have, I just wish it was more...lifted. I've started consistently doing lower body workouts and I'm seeing some results in the front of my thighs and in my calves but nothing with the butt. I think I need to start using weights for squats! What kind of weights do people use though?

    Are your legs shoulder width apart? Also, squeeze your butt as you go down and as you bring it up.

    I just started doing squats like I"m supposed to (on 2nd day) and my ass feels GREAT! It's soooo sore. Makes me feel like I'm growing an ass

    Try this to build the top part of your glutes. Get something with a little height to step on (4 or so inches high). Hold a couple weights in each hand (or just something heavy if you don't have weights). Stand on the step, then bring one foot back as far as you can while leaving the other foot on the step. When you push off to get both feet back on the step, push off with the heal that is still on the step. Alternate legs and do as many sets of 5 reps that you can do. Don't do more than you can handle though. Sometimes when I over do it, it feels like I have seriously done some damage. This will also build your hamstrings, which help push your butt up.


    I should add...when you step back with one foot, *really* step back. Your "step back" knee should be almost touching the floor.
