There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
Ice?
A hairdresser told me thats good for getting it out of hair anyway...

yeh i heard ice too but i think u r meant to put say an item of clothing in the freezer to get gum out coz u have to freeze it. i dont know if an ice block will work.
maybe i should ring the dealer and ask.

I've had some luck with the ice method. The idea is to harden the gum with ice, and try to brush it out. It works kind of.
Gosh I would suggest orange oil or this stuff called Goo Gone but on fabric, errr it might leave a oily mark. Maybe test a small spot that is out of view and see what you think.
There never was a good war or a bad peace.

Something in peanut-butter breaks down chewing gum....don't know how effective on car seats though.
Peanut butter might leave an oily stain on the fabric. Go to a janitorial supply store and ask for a can of gum remover. It is a can of compressed something or other that comes out super cold when you spray it. It freezes the gum and you can just pick the pieces off and throw them away. If there is a school nearby, the school janitor is certain to have a can of it and might be nice enough to help you one time with it.

ice it then pick at it then use goo gone.

Ok i duno if this will work but I have always wanted to try it out to see....
Ok, so you know those computer gas dusters? That when you turn the can upside down and blast will freeze whatever it comes in to contact with. To the point where it can cause frost bites.... http://www.cablek.com/catalog/produc...oducts_id=3675
Well you could spray the duster onto the gum to freeze it before peeling it off. Otherwise I dont know how else you could freeze it.
ETA: Oh yea it will work..check the vid below
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hY28SGmBb6U -video of the gas duster freezing a bowl of water instantly.
LMAO I just found a youtube vid of some idiot spraying it on to his nipple... OMG I cant imagin the pain http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDpN4WYeOBA
