Default Waist definition where there has never been any?

Okay, so my body shape is a bit like a board. I mean I have boobs and hips and everything, but it seems like there are all the same size pretty much. 36 boobs, 37 hips.

Is it possible to get the hourglass looking curve in my waist? My ribcage is the same size too and no matter how much weight I lose it seems like I never have any real definition.

Possible? or am I crappin in the wind here?

i think it's a lost cause. not everyone can have that figure. there are different body types and no amount of dieting or exercising can change a person's natural body type. someone who naturally has a bigger build is never going to get a long lean body type, just like someone with a lean build is never going to be a hourglass. be thankful for what you have. i have plenty of friends with the hourglass figure who wish they had your figure.

I'm not positive, but maybe corset training could help?

^ wait... so you'd have to SLEEP in the corset?? would it work if you just wore it from when you wake up to when you go to sleep??

i read somewhere janet jackson got her floating ribs removed so her waist would go in more. you could always do that... lol.

Are you really lean, or do you have a few extra pounds on you? If you lose a few pounds (only if you have them to lose) your waist will probably get smaller.

Ouch... I would consider rib removal if that means they would stop hurting and I would never have to have back/rib pain again.

But just so my waist would look smaller... nope.

I most could stand to lose some poundage, but I have been at a much lower weight before and I still have no real curves. Kinda like cameron Diaz body shape. Boyish with boobs.. Ahh well, just means my curves go out instead of in.. LOL

The only thing I can think up is lift weights to build up some curves.

^^ That's true. Build up your lats and your waist will look smaller.

I totally sympathize. I am also rectangular with a big ribcage. And I do get narrower than I am now, but I don't really get much more hourglassy.

Just uploaded some photos to the gallery. The old ones were old.
