    Default book exchange

I was reading the affordable luxury thread and saw how many of us love reading. Maybe we can start a SW book exchange? We can list the books we are willing to part with and trade with SW-ers that have ones we want to read.

Anyone? If people are interested I will go through my library to see what I have to offer. I KNOW I have a ton of Danielle Steel hardcovers if anyone still reads those!

I have boxes of paperbacks that I don't have shelves for. I could part with some of the hardcovers too. As long as this doesn't turn into some dumb fiasco, count me in.

Yeah...we'll have to come up with a way to not turn this bad. I guess just anyone has the right to not trade...if someone isnt comfortable with giving their info out they can just decline.(say if someone is a newbie or has proven to be untrustworthy) I would think this would be mostly a private thing, with info traded voluntarily through PM's so hopefully there wouldnt be a problem.

I'll go through my books and list some in the next day or two.

I'd LOVE true crime novels or crime fiction.

^ Have you read Women's Murder club? James Patterson

it's a great series. I have most if not all of the series. I have lent some out, so I'm not sure if I have the full set or not..there's 7 books.

I have every single Nicholas Sparks book though....

I am interested in buddhis books, and Feng Shui books, as well as romance and suspence novels. ( I do not like murder mysteries so much though, and I dont like cheesy Harliquin type romance novels) oh, and also self help books of any kind. I think they are interesting.
I presented this idea last year some time, butit never really took off for some reason..I'd love to see it happen though. I'm such a book worm

I have a bunch of novels and also a ton of textbooks that the bookstore wouldn't buy back at the end of the term if anyone's interested. I'll post them up in a few.

Here's what I found in my room so far. If anyone's interested PM me. I'm still debating getting rid of others and what is going to be listed from the basement. You can probably get a good description on amazon.

Behind A Mask: The Unknown Thrillers of Louisa May Alcott (LMA wrote ghost stories, sometimes under a pseudonym)

The Woods, Lakeboat, Edmond (plays by David Mamet)

The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories by Tim Burton

Reviving Ophelia: Saving the Selves of Adolescent Girls by Mary Pipher, Ph.D

1000 Tattoos Ed. by Henk Schiffmacher

The Kinship of Women: A Celebration of Enduring Friendship by Pat Ross

I'll be honest. After getting a burned a time or two I'm a bit hesitant to send anything out. Have a great time with this though guys! It's so great to read..I'm just getting back to it after years of struggling with poor eyesight and problems.

^^LOL I bet we have a LOT of the same books. Most of what I have to give away (since I got rid of a lot when packing) are regency romance novels. If anyone has or wants to trade those let me know.

I'm not sure where all my paperbacks are. They're either in the hall closet or in the attic...I'll ask MrsC later. I like most of my hardcovers, but I'll dig thru them in a bit and see if there's anything trade-worthy.

I've got tons of books on medieval history, English royalty, stuff like that. I'll make a list tomorrow. PB, I've got an awesome feng shui book somewhere.. I'll see if I can dig it up. I bought it with good intentions, but that's as far as I got!

I'm dying to read The Diary of Anne Frank again if anybody has that? I also love anything by Jeffrey Deaver!
