Default Tiny-footed peoples? You must aid me in my ways.

Any of you guys have eensy weensy feet like I do? I think it contributes to my abysmal balance and after much thought I believe my poor performance in my heels was the #1 reason why my audition didn't work out.

I've been just practicing walking末not sexy walking, not sexy dancing, just WALKING末and even though I've become more fluid in them, I think balancing will be eternally difficult just because I wear size 5s. Size 5 stripper heels (6.5") is like balancing on pinpoints!

Any of y'all have bitty midget feet and can actually move? I feel like I have bound feet when I'm in my heels. When I'm hangin' on the pole I dance quite nicely...fluidly, sexily, whatever...but you can't just cling on to the pole all night, you'd look like you're clutching a piece of driftwood after a shipwreck. (I'LL NEVER LET GO JACK.)

Maybe you need heels with a bigger...heel? Chunky heels or cone heels? I wear size 6s platforms (you are wearing platforms, right? Not regular high heels?) and they don't seem too small.

Get lower heels or higher platforms. Or some combination thereof. Tah dah!

Hey swaly, I wear a size 5 too and I've found that a wider heel and a flatter platform (instead of the curved ones) are much easier to dance/walk in than ones with a sharp stiletto and a curved platform but eventually you will get used to them.

I think that shoe comfort is very important. If you think walking is hard, try bending over and squatting during a lap dance!

Try a chunky, cone, or wedge heel. Try a non-stripper brand shoe to get a flat platform, just keep in mind that they're not intended for dancing and may wear down or break.

Make sure the shoe is attached to your foot well too, the garter trick is awesome.

I wear these now and it took a while to get used to the tiny stiletto but now I'm totally used to them.

    Good luck hun!

    ^^those are sexy!

i dunno if shoe size matters, ive heard girls with size 9 feet complain. :shrugs:
but i wear a 6 and agree that stilletos are more difficult to walk in. cone heals are much easier!

maybe try boots?? they would be more stable and make it easier to climb the pole, so you could spend more time on the pole off your feet during your stage set to offset the clumsy time you're on your feet away from the pole

I'm a 5 too! what kind of shoes are you wearing? I have found the most comfortable to be 6 to 7" high platform stilettos with two plastic bands. having both of those plastic pieces really really helps keep your feet steady in the shoe.

I started out dancing in these and just keep ordering the same pair because they're so damn comfortable.

Now, I'm a big-footed peoples, but I too have had trouble finding shoes that do not try to kill me, so I have studied various aspects of the shoe-finding art.

It sounds like you're having a problem with the toe, not the heel. (I sympathize. I have toe problems too, but different ones -- the bases simply aren't wide enough for me to find balance in many shoes.) From what you're saying, you probably want a lower rise... which may mean a higher toe platform, or simply a lower shoe, depending on how you're trying to sort out the balance.

3" is all the rise you need for the effect that pushes out boobs and butts and tightens tummies and legs. I imagine it has much to do with the actual foot angle, so you can probably get away with a pretty short shoe when your feet are small and have the same effects on your figure.

If you're having problems with the heel or the overall shoe balance: good luck there. You may be lucky like these other people and be able to wear the pretty seven-inchers that I stare at with futile envy.

    Here's a pair I've seen someone rock: http://www.snaz75.com/pl-romance-03.html

my fit quite nicely in a 2 1/2... 3 are good too. But i can wear up to size 6. 6 is normally too big tho. I usually end up buying around a size 5 tho. I don't care to wear children's style shoes.

I wear size 6 and i can walk okay but i do notice that i have a harder time walking in stripper heels with the round toes (where your toes actually stick out of the shoe) than the ones with the square toes (where your toes actually fit completely in the shoe). Try finding heels with square toes. the shoes with the square toes are harder to find, but they do exist! I have seen them in stores but cannot find them online! I just probably do not know the correct term for it.
