oh imus. he really has a knack of saying the really wrong thing.
Imus is such a has been douchebag. He needs to be off the air. That's the only way he'd be doing the public and sort of service.
i dont think he said anything wrong this time, it was just blown out of proportion.

Funny how the people ( not necessarily on this site ) who are the most critical of Imus are also the ones most supportive of Rev. Wright. In any event, only he knows for sure what he meant by his comment. It really could be taken either way and I doubt he'd make such a comment on the air so soon after being reinstated.
The sad fact of the matter is that there seems to be no shortage of misbehaving athletes and entertainers ( many of them black ) to be focused on by the media for their misdeeds.
"never trust a big butt and a smile"-- Bell Biv DeVoe
If you're in your twenties and aren't a liberal, you have no heart. If you're in you're forties and aren't a conservative, you have no brain - Winston Churchill
In this case, Imus' comment is being blown out of proportion. This is a case of people listening to someone talk one sentence at a time and taking everything out of context. In which case i think people need some language lessons. He has to, however, understand that he's being listened to very closely after last year's debacle.
What was the whole context of the show and I'd really like to know how he could justify saying that in a non-effed up manner? He is not someone who I could sit and listen to for an entire hour without wanting to go crazy and poke my eyeballs out. (Not only him but there are a bunch of other "commentators" or whatever you wanna call them-- that grate my nerves.) So can I get the Cliff Notes version though,I know things can be taken out of context, but I don't know how anyone can ask "what color is he" then say "oh that explains it" and not come off sounding racist as hell. Personally I thought this was much worse than calling a bunch of girls "nappy headed ho's"
It was more along the lines of "That's why they're after him." That's what i got out of it, at least. Hearing it, it seemed to me like he was taking Pacman's side more than anything else.
I'm sure someone can find a transcript somewhere.
^^ Make your own judgment.
He mumbles so much I could hardly understand him.

I can understand why some feel it was taken out of context.
But Dude, think......you've already been fired once over a racial comment. If your going to make a comment, even if its that the cops are after him because of his race, then say it.
he generalized the comment to much and left it open to too-much interpretations; and now we'll never know what he really meant....
I just realized this guy bears a striking resemblance to an oompa loompa
scary.
