Thumbs up Stripper of the Week is .... GoldCoastGirl -- yes seriously! (lol)

Stripper Of The Week runs from Monday to Monday meaning that if you are Stripper Of The Week you will be in the spotlight for the whole 7 days.

Everyone here can ask questions but the SOTW may be selective with answering them. The SOTW is not obligated to answer or discuss any questions s/he is not comfortable with or may simply just not feel like answering for whatever reason.

The thread is not a place for flaming, slagging off people or bitching. This is not a place for dragging up past issues or stiring up trouble - keep it friendly!

On Friday of each week I will PM the current SOTW and ask them to choose the next person. The SOTW can choose anyone who asked a question on their thread that week and someone, preferably, who has not been chosen in the past year.

If you do not wish to be SOTW you can still ask questions, just let the current SOTW know that you do not want to be chosen for the next week.

    Previous SOTW: HardKandee, Lexi, LoveSexMoney

THIS WEEK'S SoTW is GoldCoastGirl !

The answer to this one is easy however sometimes it may seem like I'm not balanced... I'm only human. I do not ever suggest that I'm perfect and tend to forget my spirituality at times (you could say).

I find I draw a lot of strength from my ecelctic pagan witchcraft spirituality. It is my own unique path that moulds and melds a lot of different traditions, beliefs, etc. Ultimately it works for me. In the end, no matter what happens to me in my life.. no matter how I am "re-acting" to my life... I maintain "the faith" in the universe.

My "faith" is not like that of a religious fanatic sort of faith. It is more aptly explained in Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. I have to be honest, that book touches upon a LOT of my witchcraft beliefs and principles that I had prior to my first reading of it.

As for my Paganism.. it's a bit shamanic.

I don't find my spirituality to ever clash with my life in any respect. It has only helped to enhance my life and never take away from it whenever I actively use it ... or even when I don't seem to actively use it (tho' unknown to me at the time I actually am). It is ingrained in me so much now.. part of my very being.. that I "am" my spirituality every day in many ways.

I don't have to cast spells or mediate etc to be active in my spirituality.

Samba - I will reply back to this thread before my week is "over" with the voice blog links to your questions as they are some damn great questions! I feel it would be best for me to answer them via a voice blog.

I am only answering some questions via voice blog .. not because they are "special" or anything of the sort... it is a bit of laziness on my part yet at the same time I feel it would be best if I spoke the answers.

Thank you everyone for the questions, these are awesome .. I'm having fun!

Hi, GCG, congrats on being named "SOTW". My ??'s:

    1) Where are your pics in "2008 Draft", if applicable? (your pics in gallery are nice, but aren't recent, no?)
    2) If you had to be an animal, which of these would you like to be & why? A) Kangaroo B) Wedge Tailed Eagle C) Great White Shark
    3) Your grade on the following "You Tube" clip (5:24 mins) on a scale of 1-10 in factors like originality, effectiveness of video/soundtrack blend, and how well it captures the nuances of the "feminine mystique"? (Type on YT search "Brigette Bardot vs Getz/Gilberto"). Sorry, typing out prolix links is an error prone undertaking for me

One of THE easiest questions! Gotta love the interwebs !

    http://www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/t_st....aspx?PID=4169

Why was it called the Gold Coast? In the late 1940's, Brisbane journalists called the coast, south of Brisbane, "the Gold Coast" - it was the place to buy and sell land in the postwar real estate boom. The local council thought that it was a good promotional name and on 23 October 1958, the South Coast Town Council adopted the name Gold Coast Town Council. Officially the Queensland State Government proclaimed the Local Authority of the city of the Gold Coast on 16 May 1959. The Place Names Board of Queensland officially gazetted the place name in April 1980.

I'm going to wait til I get back some of the photos from two of the agencies I work for as they will be the most recent photographs (shoot done last week ... the other one done yesterday) ... and hot too! So.. um.. ah.. can it wait?

I don't do much modeling any more. It just isn't a huge thing for me to do anymore.. so I do it whenever thus the reason a lot of my images are dated a little.

It's a toss up between B and C as both are animals I find totally fascinating!

Yet if I had to make a real choice .. B ... as my astrological "make-up" is very influenced by "scorpio" type energy (my astrological birth chart)... and besides the scorpion being one of the symbols related to that "star" sign... the eagle or more appropriately The Phoneix is another one. I can relate to it on a whole lot of levels.

Not to mention I relate more to the Eagle's energy than a Shark's energy.

I'm not quite sure what you meant by "feminine mystique" so I'm basing my interpretation of these two words and their meaning upon http://www.enotes.com/feminine-mystique/

I would give it a 5 as it is not totally clear upon viewing how it is related to "the feminine mystique" ..... please feel free to tell me how you think it does

As you can tell in the voice blog recording, my flatmate who I have lived with (and we have only EVER been flatmate) for nearly a decade was around and "helped"... The couple of questions I missed was because I felt like they were a bit personal so I will come back and answer them when he isn't in ear shot (as such).

As well as the fact that I feel I want to give them a little more thought.

Here is the first one of many in reply to your questions:

GCG- Maybe not the best choice of words on my part, yet you may have answered my ?? better than you think you did. By "mystique", I meant the total sum of the tangibles ( beauty of "subject", how she acts in a variety of situations, etc) coupled with the "intangibles"( that "something" that makes subject irresistible to men, makes them want to pursue her over the ends of the earth, etc.), and how well this YT clip captures/sums up this universal "question"/phenomenon. Also, how effective the soundtrack/film combination is done over. Right now, I'm hard pressed to find a YT clip that captures "all this" better than BB
    Your thoughts??

Honestly. I don't think any movie or any YT clip will ever be able to fully do "all that" as it is something that one has to experience not "watch" (as such)... if you get me?

It's part of the reason why strip clubs (when they are strip clubs nothing more) work. It allows people to experience some of this mystique "in the flesh" as such ....
