I've been dancing for over a month & I only got 1 CR. I feel so lousy & not so popular like the other girls. What are you guys doing to sell CRs & how long did it take for you guys to start raking in those CRs?

Aww don't feel bad! I had been dancing for like 5 or 6 yrs when first going to my current club, and I think it took a month to get CR. Then again, I didn't try and waited for people to ask me...actually, I tried to NOT promote them by saying they were a waste of money. oopsies.
Anyhow, are you asking for CRs or just waiting for people to ask you? Are you asking after 1 regular lapdance if the customer wants to move to a more private area? One month isn't that long dancing (or a little over a month). Some of the other girls may have built up a regular clientele, and you don't know how long that took. Other times, it's a matter of being in the right place at the right time in this industry.
There are various threads about how to sell CRs, so a search might help.
Basically, just emphasize the privacy issue. Where I work, it's easy to sell CRs because compared to lapdances, they are actually CHEAPER if the guy doesn't tip/doesn't tip well. Also, we have our tops off in CR, but not lapdance, and they're allowed to touch in CR.
Well if it's a new custie, I tell them about lapdances & CRs & ask if it's something they're interested in. If it's a custie who has been at the club before I ask if they would like a lapdance & then ask if they want to move up to the CR. I don't wait till the custie asks me. I don't think I'm that confident yet :/
EDIT
I'm just realizing this should've been posted in the Hustle Hut. Sorry!!
Don't worry nobody gets tons right off the bat. You'll fid what helps YOU sell them eventually....
Basically, I would say, "So what kind of dance do you want? We can do one right here for 20 bucks, or if you REALLY want to get dirty/have fun/be naughty we can go to a private room!"
I find saying private room works better than champagne room...CR sounds really expensive!

Once you've sealed the deal that they will be getting a dance (acting as if) say, "ok so will we be dancing here or in private"
If they decide to get the lapdance, go and do that...after the end of the first, I ask for another dance. If they agree to that I dance..after THAT 2nd dance, that's when I chime in about the private room again.
*soapbox time*
Ok, I know you're new and I"m not sayin you're doing this but PLEASE do not write a check your ass can't cash. Meaning, don't tell a customer you're going to do something (ie. extras) when you know you have no intention on following through. Hell, even if you intend to follow through...DON'T lol...
Some Douchebag: "[Pimp C] 12:43 am: its true we got to stick together the black people on SW CK you is teh condoleeza of SW"
I've only done one champagne room too... so don't feel bad. you're not alone.
to be honest I'd rather NOT have a guy ask for CR... because around here normally they are asking for extras. I guess it just depends on where you work.... but both clubs where I have worked it's been that way... so when a guy says he wants to do champagne room I let em know right off the bat that I don't do extras. at all. so usually they say "Ok.. I'll let you know if I still am up for it in 15 min... ok?" yeaaa. I already kno wat that really means. that REALLY translates to: "I'm gonna find some other girl that is willing to do w.e I want in the CR"
also... its hard to sell CR for me because here we have table dances(nude but no touching... altho some girls allow it anyway) and then there are friction dances(which is a lap dance... with top off)... so it's hard to get a guy to pay that much money when he can get a "friction dance" for 25 bucks a song.
The CRs in the club I dance at are $400 for 30 mins. Once the custies hear the price, they run away. Is there an easier way to sell a room so expensive?

where are you working? pm if you dont wanna say. but if its on the block still.. all im going to say is please, please find another club.
IMHO at our club it's just not worth it to sell CRs. They are really over-priced for the area, and it seems like a lot of guys expect the world for it b/c they paid "sooo much money"...and the club takes half of that! Not worth it.
If you get good at selling multiple dances, you can make out like a bandit without ever going into a room. Say you sell an average of two dances to each customer. (Some will buy more, some will only buy one, but let's say two average.) That's $50 per customer. Talk 10 customers into dances, at $50 each, and that's $500.
And it's a lot easier to talk customers into spending $50 on dances than $400...so you don't have to waste time trying to hard-sell people. You might have to talk to a guy for a half hour before he's convinced to spend on a room...but you can make a $50 sale in 2-3 minutes. And then another, and another and another...
Or, do they still do the 15-minute VIP rooms for $200? I used to have more luck selling those. If you mention the regular rooms first, and then add "oh and if that's a little too much for you, we also have VIP rooms down here for $200..." ...they're so shocked by the $400, that $200 seems like a bargain in comparison!![]()
euw, I used to work at a club that charged $400 per half hour for a champagne room. They were very difficult to sell, especially when I was a newb. I remember my first one some guy said he would go back, but only spend $300. That was it! I asked and the club said okay, but they still got their $200, but I only got $100 (normally it's a $200/$200 split.) And I did it.I would deal with that totally differently now, but I was so focused on selling it because I never did one.
Basically, the only guys that got them were pervs and guys who just didn't give a fuck about money. Since I assume you probably don't want to deal with pervs, and the guys that just don't give a fuck about money are like unicorns, I suggest sticking with regular lap dances or find a club that has a better deal. Unless you are getting $300 of that $400. Then stay and make out like a bandit when you finally get it down.

Ugh, my club in baltimore is also the $400 for 30min, and i hate it. I find it so much harder to sell them that half the time i dont even try. I was never great at hustling them, so the price increase didnt help.
$400 for 30min with no champagne included is a rip off!

lol, duh...my brain must not have been working right. well, hi! always happy to meet people who do/did work where i am![]()
