    Default portland writing opportunity?

From this week's (6/25) Willamette Week:

"Do you work a night shift at a local ER? Drive an ambulance in the evening? Work as a bartender? If you work any night shift worth writing about, we'd like to read about it. And we'll pay! At the end of the summer, our Night Cabbie columnist will be going off duty. And we're broadening the job description to include anyone with tales to tell about working after dark. Send your best 250-word Night Shift to nightshift @ wweek.com, along with your name and email address; we'll print the best entries. Who knows, you may become our next columnist, motherfucker."

So if any of you ladies are literary this might be an interesting shot. (Side note: the current Night Cabbie columnist is an ex of mine... I really wonder where he's going, but I blocked his email address & have him under 'do not answer' in my cell, so I guess I'll have to do some old fashioned social asking-around to figure that out.)

oooh. I want the job. I'm not much of a writer, but I sure have the crazy ass experiences. I'm sort of thinking this'd be a gig for Susan....

Probably not a lot, sounds like the are probably looking for a rotating cast of writers/topics instead of just cab driving, set in the city of Portland. Strippers represent, hopefully!
