Stripping isn't something I'm personally cut out to do full time. I'm better suited to stripping as a side project. I'm trying to find a well-paying full time job, and the club I work at is hiring for waitresses and shooter girls. The managers like me and would be willing to hire me. A shooter girl is like a waitress, but she dresses sluttier (here the waitresses have fairly conservative sports bar get ups), and just sells shots. She's also flirtier, etc, and it's a bit easier than waitressing, I think, insofar as it's less complicated.
I've checked it out, and shooter girls can make a good $175-225/ a shift here, if they're pushy/flirty enough. It's not stripper money, and longer than stripper hours, but it's pretty good.
The thing is though, I don't know if it'd be weird for me to work as 'myself'-ish at a place I've danced at for three years. Like, with the customers...I dunno. I'd try to keep using my stage name if I could. Also, you're not allowed to strip in town if you work at the club. So I could still skip down to Montreal or Niagara for stripping trips, but if I wanted to work in town I'd have to go to a scuzzier place and be really careful. That might be a con. Of course, I could always quit.
Can anyone else offer any pros/ cons? How does it look on a resume to be working at a strip club as a waitress?
