It's weird, but ever since I got mono, taking my birth control pill gives me serious nausea. Like I take it right before bed, and all the next morning I feel sickish until about noon. And if I take it in the morning, the feeling is even more intense. I'm pretty sure the pill is the variable, because when I don't take it, I'm fine.
I've been on the pill for six years, and the only time it's made me sick was when I took two pills too close together (SO pukey, eww...never made that mistake again). But now it's every time. I'm going to bring it up with my doctor. In the meantime I've just stopped taking the pill, or my other hormone pills (spironolactone for the pcos). It's weird. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Can you switch pills?
