    Good cheap Sin City digs?

As many dancers here are either in Las Vegas or have regularly been there, I was wondering if any could recommend a good cheap month-to-month efficiency apartment there. Nothing fancy. Kitchenette is fine. Prefer furnished and it not in a rough neighborhood.

    Thanks in advance!

Ugh, not really....I guess if I HAD to reccommend one, the Budget Suites on Tropicana (near Decatuer) is probably possibly the least evil place, but all of the places like there are fucking crack dens and just DISGUSTING. I would really advise against it...when I lived there, I got followed, somebody tried to break into my apartment and I had to call the police....It was to the point where I couldn't leave the house wearing normal clothes, I would throw sweat pants and a tee shirt over whatever I was wearing and then change in the car. And all of this costs 250/week...

I'd say your better off looking on Craigslist and finding a roommate... I REALLY don't reccommend staying in any of those places, all my friends who did had similar experiences....

I liked (I think it's called) the Emerald Suites or Emerald hotel. It's down the street a mile away from the strip to the West, from the MGM.

otherwise I always like the motel 6 but they don't do monthlies.

    the emerald does.

this one is NOT in a rough neighborhood. It's really close to a new shopping mall, and though I stayed there two years ago-- it was really nice.

    edit: okay, here it is:

I don't know how much it is for a week or a month-- I only stayed there a night, but the people were nice (two years ago) and I felt comfortable enough to hang out by the hot tub talking on my cell phone. they had a kitchen and living room with private bedroom. the bed was a little hard-- but then again, I need my bed super super soft; otherwise I think everything else is hard.
