Have you ever ran into counterfeit money that a customer has offered you?
I've been thinking about this lately and scared once I start dancing I might get cheated out by letting them get dances!

::crossing fingers:: not yet. i think there are certain things to look for on the bills...and different things on newer/older bills.
This site may be of some help:

Nope, never. Is counterfitting a big problem in your area or something?
got some 10 dollar bills one time that looked real until i tried depositing them in the bank....they even marked real with those stupid pens.

Only once and that was about 12 or 13 yrs ago in NYC. Bills looked real, diff serials and all, but the paper felt 'off'. Caught onto it as soon as I pulled the bills from my garter. Management went over to the guy, forced him to make good with real money (it was double checked) then threw his ass out.
Honestly, it will probably be very very rare that it happens. If ever.

Never had this problem...
I've known some dancers who carried around the little pens.
I've encountered bills that glowed in blacklight, but those are ones, and usually it means they've been through the laundry. :-)
Not that that has anything to do with the topic. Spork.

If the bill is suspicious, ask for a different one.

I've come across counterfeits quite often. Not in the club but from change from stores. My mom is a banker and sees them all the time so they're out there.
If something feels weird I'll ask for another one.
