^^ not necessarily... depends on why she wouldn't take $. If it was out of principle, then yeah, I agree. But there may be some club rules of which you simply aren't aware. @ my club we're not allowed to take $ onstage while naked... so it looks like we leave $ on the stage while we go backstage to grab a wrap. you never know.
If she wasn't using this as some hustle to make you buy a CR or dances....She may be forbidden to take stage tips. Some cities have bizarre ordinances about how and when a dancer can accept tips.
I've never heard of any clubs where tipping wasn't customary.. was this in Europe or something?![]()
That is absolutely bizarre because...
I, myself, have tipped a girl on stage at that exact club.

Maybe she was new? I've turned down tips because I wasn't sure if I was allowed to collect them, or how to do it. Or I was just plain intimidated by how the other girls were taking them.

I was about to say this same thing. Only I experienced it in Vegas. I was at one notable "super club" and saw that even though guys were putting dollar bills on the stage, the girls were ignoring them completely. I asked my DJ friend who worked there what's up and he said most of the girls there make such serious cash that they wipe their ass with 1$ dollar bills. Another dancer I chatted with for a while said she won't even fuck with singles. I guess when you're pulling in thousands a night who the fuck cares about some dude's 1$ stage tip.
yeah, it sucks, but if that's the system, it's the system.
I know there's been clubs I've worked where you really get into your stage show and it's kind of a pain in the ass to have to stop, swoop down, play kissy face, and then get back into the set for a minute before having to do it all over again.
I guess it depends on tone. If she was a snot about it-- she was a snot. If she was just stating a fact in a compassionate way like "hey, we just don't do that here," then no-- doesn't deserve the worst stripper award ever. Especially when there's such fierce competition for it in other quarters.

Damn, must be nice to be able to turn one's nose up at a stage tip. Personally, I think it's really rude to ignore a stage tip unless the tipper is being obnoxious and it doesn't sound like you were. I had this happen to me 2 years ago. I went to a club and would put a dollar up on the stage as a tip and wait for the dancer to come over and half of them ignored me but would take tips from other customers! I never went back to that club.

i do that sometimes, like if its busy i won't do the 20 floor dancers beacuse i know a Cr is just 3 guys away, but i am a little baffled by the stage thing, i mean, she was already there, she might as well take it.... on the other hand, last weekend, everyone was paying me in singles, so by the end of the night i started avoididng them 'cause i was scared my rubber band would break...
These days I like to count my money. I like to wash it delicately and iron it. Sometimes I dry it with some bounty to make it all nice and cuddly. I love my money... did I say that out loud?

the next time this happens, here's what you do:
put the money in an envelope. send it to me. i will then upload you a video of me leaning over, putting in my garter, and saying "thank you honey".
