Having fun during a dance and looking like you are enjoying it is not quite the same with faking an orgasm. If I was a man customer especially in his 40s-50s, I don't know if I'd believe a dancer who started moaning, rolling her eyes and having orgasmic convultions during a dance for real. I'd find it entertaining, funny and maybe even... cheap. But hey, men are misterious creatures, aren't they?

Was just expressing my personal opinion.

lol, I don't sit on a guy's lap and convulse. I do think that there could be tacky ways and nontacky ways to do it. I'm also not the yelling kind during sex so when I fake orgasms, it's soft and quiet and a lot of the times I'll put a surprised look on my face and say "wow, I just had an orgasm" or "I can't believe it, but I think I'm going to cum!" And I never "orgasm" for less than $100 worth of dances. I get shocked at the things guys like too. I always get the weirdos. It used to be at one club, whenever a guy with a weird, sexual fetish came in, the girls would send me over because I would be the only one who could listen to his stories and not laugh.

I would be afraid if the guy thinks I'm going to actually orgasm then he would get super turned on and lose it. I really don't want to be sitting on some losers lap when he gets off in his pants. Some guys lose it the minute they feel you on top of them. Usually I just make a lot of eye contact and act like I enjoy dancing for him and like getting him turned on. I make it more sensual than sexual. I also talk. I make silly sexual small talk. Most guys don't mind because they are turned on.

I should say for the record that other girls in this club believe those two girls are actually giving handjobs and worse back there. So it might not *just* be the fake orgasms. But it's hard to know for sure.

some of the top earners I've seen are the cleanest dancers around. They must have some special aura about them, or something. I stopped trying to figure out what other girls do and focus on how I can increase my earnings. If you do things you are not comfortable with or not good at (like playing mental games), you won't success. Work on improving the good qualities you already have and be yourself.

^^ I think it might be pheromones? It's weird...sometimes it does seem to be something intangible. Especially when the girls aren't attractive!

Hmm, I've never heard of this...I did however have a roommate who was embarassed because she actually DID have orgasms while dancing for customers at least 1x a night...I guess she must have been MAJORLY orgasmic or something cause she wasn't an unusually heavy grinder or anything...she kept it to herself, tho.

if you don't need contact to orgasm, it will happen in highly sexualised environments.

And how many more orgasms will you have during the night while dancing for others, he'll think.
That's the trick, convincing him that HE did it. It's tricky to do but when I've done it, I've pulled it off by finding something sincerely attractive about him and working myself up realistically. I'm also not "convulsing" or making any loud noises, just tiny sighs and gasps. No one watching from 10 feet away would have any idea what I was doing. You have to create that bubble of space where the whole world is just your eyes and his eyes, and create genuine chemistry. It takes a long time and a lot of effort, which is why (like iseestars) it's only worth doing with likeable guys who are getting five dances or more. It's all in the buildup, not the "orgasm" itself.

And - I stress this emphatically - you do NOT have to be a dirty dancer or do any grinding to pull this off; in fact, you really shouldn't. It only works under certain circumstances but it can make a lot of money if you do it right.

Another Know It All telling everybody how to do their job? Jesus.

Gown clubs are great, but they are a very small percentage of all clubs... and you may make more at some run of the mill "titty bar"! I know where I am, I am making the most I have EVER in seven years of dancing, and it's nothing spectacular in terms of "class". A few gown clubs I worked at were some of the lowest class places in terms of the normality of extras. Girls were wearing $300 gowns and giving $100 blow jobs. Real classy.

Remember, there is a customer for every type of girl. One guys wants someone who looks like a lounge singer, the next guy wants a schoolgirl, or a girl in a neon bikini, etc. Someone might want you to be polite and articulate, but I know I make my money exercising my strengths - being funny, loud, and boisterous. There is no single right look or attitude.

Am I the only person who thinks that classy stripper is an oxymoron? If they wanted classy, they would go to a tea party. You don't need to be trashy, but everyone who gives this advice just sounds like a snobby priss who's too good for stripping and is trying to make it into something it isn't like a geisha or hostess experience.

"Classy" is such a corny sentiment. Think of the word "class"... A social stratum whose members share certain economic, social, or cultural characteristics. Social rank or caste, especially high rank... Using that word suggests that others are below you. I, as a stripper who came from nothing just trying to make my way in the world, would feel hypocritical harboring such sentiments. I am not going to derive satisfaction from thinking of myself as better than anyone else while I strut around in a gown (that I will soon take off in order to receive money) and try to act like I went to finishing school.

So yea, I wouldn't feel trashy faking orgasms if it means I'm going to make some easy cash that I'll use to better myself.

Well, I do think that there's something to be said for behaving in a classy manner. But my definition of "class" isn't about social strata, it's about grace and dignity. I see no reason why a stripper can't do her job and be sexual while still maintaining dignity, grace, and poise.

^ absolutely agreed. But the connotations of the word irk me in this context. I think "classy" is interchangeable or totally replaceable with "polite" and "sane" at our job!

I read somewhere that good acting isn't acting at all. It's not pretending -- it's being. It's you becoming your character and living the scripted situation. So I agree that the chemistry is key. If the guy doesn't smell and seems like a good person, it is much easier to find something appealing about him, and then you can make him believe you're attracted to him because your dancer persona actually is.

I agree with you. To me, being a classy stripper means treating myself with respect and also treating customers with respect. It's about being polite and doing my best to make the interaction a pleasant, fun experience. And making the customer feels recognized as a human being and not just a wallet. Behaving professionally. Not trashing other dancers, not breaking character, being as ethical as possible by whatever your own moral standards are (for instance, I would lie only to make the man feel attractive, to create a fantasy and to protect myself -- but lying about having kids to get more money, etc., in my view is crossing the line).

Dressing in expensive gowns and jewelry -- or just, not trashy/tacky stuff -- can be effective in conveying visually the impression that you have class. Because generally the stereotype is that rich people have class. But that's not always true and in a strip club environment, wearing a gown is not a substitute for dignity, obviously.

    Well said, I agree 100%.

And you're right about the acting - I never looked at it that way, but I suppose that's what it is. Even an ugly guy has something likeable to connect with, you just have to find it and focus your being on how sexy that one trait is... funny because I tell actors the same thing when I direct but I never made the connection! Hell, I very nearly DID have an orgasm once because this ugly old fat dude had a really soft shirt on and after seven or eight dances I was so fixated on that OMG SO SEXY shirt that I was genuinely aroused!

This is very valuable advice. A huge part of stripping is "acting."

& I do the fake moans thing too. I'm not ashamed. I'm very sexual & since I do low to medium contact dances, I try to find every way to maximize the chances of repeat dances. I didn't have the moxie to do this for years, though- it's not in everyone's comfort zone.

What's funny is I know nothing at all about acting, though I do consider this improv! That's just out my ass advice. :-p

I have had three different dancers orgasm with me over the years. How do I know? Well cold sweaty skin, shaking, moaning, heavy breathing - all can be faked although I think I can tell the difference. What cannot be faked is that they sat with me for the rest of the night and did not ask for any additional money. Great conversation and a different attitude than, just another customer. Of course I tipped well, but money is the ultimate motivation ( stripping is a job after all) so that is the best indicator.
