I apologize if this has been posted before but I was wondering...
Assuming you were working all day as a dancer
(morning, evening, and night)
How often would you change your outfit?

Not sure about an all-day shift, but I generally use 3-4 outfits during a busy night shift. Just depends on how the night is going...![]()
I usually don't change at all. They recommend to change at least 3 times, tho. The most I've ever changed in the past year is like...once.
Depends on how well I was doing in one particular outfit. If I was doing well I'd keep it on for a few hours. When it slowed back down I'd change into something else. If business was steady then I change maybe three times at the most. I'd pretty much always wear a different outfit though on each stage rotation.
if i get sweaty, or dont feel cute in it ill change otherwise whats the point. i think i change my thongs more then gowns or outfits.

I might change like, once or twice in a day. I was having fashion issues the other day though and was changing after like, every set, lol.
I like to start out slutty and get more glam as I go.

My Current Pet Band Is: LAZRtag!
I use to go the opposite, start out really glam and get more slutty as the night progressed, lol.

Depends on how busy it is. If it's really busy, usually about 3-4 times in a night. If it's really slow I won't bother.

I only wear one outfit. If I was working ALL day though, I'd probably change just so it wouldn't be sweaty.
I really only feel sexy in one outfit. I tried changing once but it stressed me out, like I was starting all over or something...I dunno.

Why would you change if it's busy? The people in there wont even know if you changed if the club is really hoping because it'll be all new people? I don't understand.

^For me it's a motivational thing. When it's really busy and I'm hustling a lot, sometimes a change in outfit will completely refresh me and my attitude if I start to get tired or not want to hustle anymore. And if it's busy with the same customers for a few hours, I want to be seen in more than just one outfit.

I worked at one club where it was stage only and we had to change after each set. But now, I might change once a day but I usually just keep the same outfit on throughout the shift.
I think I change more often in the summer (sweaty). I know nothing about gown clubs...I would think in & out of gowns would be a pain...![]()

I used to change A LOT, now I try to limit myself to one outfit for a 7 hour shift. It wastes time.

We're *supposed* to have a minimum of three different outfits in a shift and rotate them for each stage set. It's rare that the girls actually do that, though.
If I do change outfits I usually have one floor outfit (gown) and one stage one (easy to do pole tricks in).

I only change if a long period of time goes by when I havent made any money. Usually I wear the same thing all night.

I usually change my bikini once a night coz my fake tan gets all over it. I only change my outfit if im not making money or if it looks dirty from my fake tan.
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
