Lately have noticed that there are a bunch of members don't have their ribbons showing.
I dunno I just find it annoying, esp when I see them posting in SG or Ladies only.
Am I the only one who has noticed this?

My apologies................fixed.
I admit to 2 SG posts (one a one-linerand one for clarification), I thought that as long as it was pertinent, we could post in SG. I've limited myself from posting in SG, BTW, and ohhh how I've wanted to say so many things.
But I do know to stay out of the ladies room (or at least keep my mouth shut).![]()

i dont like it either.

Maybe they are trannies.![]()

i never even noticed. wow. lol..... i guess that's handy though and i see your point.

lol ^ i haz no ribbon. sorry. lemme fix it..... there we go. gender selected.now you all know.
i kinda thought about selecting male for shits n giggles though.
I think you have to select a gender - otherwise it might be hidden intentionally.

I THINK we know you're a guy. Heh.
I think you have to select a gender under your settings... like in your profile. But since we know what gender you are, I think it's ok.
And not everyone dislikes guys on the boards - Britt Iyou but only some people don't want men on the boards. I think it may even be a minority.

whoa whoa.. i said i dont want guys in ladies only! i assumed thats what he was referring to by saying "ladies room." i took that as he reads in there just doesnt post.. which, yanno, do it and all.. but dont come out and say it. im not niave enough to think the guys dont read in there, but technically that would be nice. that was all! definately not that i didnt want the guys here at all!
you guys.. i feel bad now. i really dont think the guys should leave. i hope i explained what i meant well and nobody is offended![]()

I never really notice the ribbon

Ah crap. Sorry, i should know better after all this time![]()
checking I have pink ribbon

If only it were possible to keep them from also reading LO....that would be nice.

Isn't it OBVIOUS from the description of SG (Stripping (was Stripping General) Have a topic about stripping but it doesn't fit in the other sections below? Then it belongs here!) that forum is for ladies only? Nooooo.....
I PM'd Pryce about this after being violently flamed by Violet for daring to post there. And got NO answer. Realistically, I have no problem with avoiding particular sections (like Ladies Only), but not when there's no warning, just the extreme prejudice of certain contributors/mods.
SG isn't for Ladies Only but it is a general opinion that men should limit their posting in there because they're usually not involved in the industry and their point may be from a customers point of view, which isn't really helpful.
Pryce is a busy man. He might not get to all his PMs.

It really annoys me when people with ambiguous names and talking about ambiguous topics and no ribbon post. I don't know why it bothers me so much but it really does.
You are right, of course, yet there are rare cases where a customer's view may be helpful. Emphasis on "rare."
For example, if a topic in SG gets deep into an endless discussion of why customers do what they do -- say, a few dozen questions are raised about customers' behavior or spending practices or tipping habits with nobody really answering them, and the theories sort of go off on some strange tangents -- some of the more experienced customers here may be able to make a meaningful contribution by posting one or two polite "you might consider this" posts and then ducking back out. These are "meaningful" only to the extent that they offer new information from a unique viewpoint, are designed to provide the opportunity for the thread to move in a new direction, and are -- by far -- the exception rather than the rule.
This is a million miles away from customers rudely and indiscriminately sticking their noses in on every single topic and blasting away with both barrels. The forum is principally designed for dancers and industry people and this general rule should be respected.
I think you can safely assume he receives all his PMs. Responding to the massive wave, however, is something different, and that's where the time challenge comes in. It's a problem I have as well, although on a smaller scale.![]()
