he deserves a Darwin Award.
^^^ I was about to say the same thing. A little chlorine to the gene pool here.
Serves as a warning to others.
My parents told me the same kind of stories to keep me away from farm equipment and tractors.

God that's awful.
He went in to get his hat and lost his head instead!!
it's stupid kids who think their asses are invincible. it's ridiculous. if a sign says danger, there's a high probability it's dangerous! but they just think it could never happen to them. dumbass kids.

But his hat was sooooo important!
gosh... i dont understand why teenagers think they're so invincible. gosh.... at least it was quick. right??
I heard horror stories from my parents and grandparents about pool drains, farm equipment, lawnmowers... pretty much everything mechanical is evil. so i stay away from everything mechanical for the most part. Im even scared and extremely cautious of my blender and the food disposal.
We are boys - we lack forsight. That tendency doesn't typically end until death. If we're lucky, that point takes a while, but it's amazing that any of us with penises last beyond a few years.
"The problem with the world is that everyone is a few drinks behind."
-Humphrey Bogart
"Sir, if you were my husband, I would poison your drink."
-Lady Astor to Winston Churchill
"Madam, if you were my wife, I would drink it."
-His reply
"If God had intended us to drink beer, He would have given us stomachs."

Jesus...
I agree he should have known better.Think of everyone who witnessed his decapitation.Betcha THEY won't try something so stupid!
They will probably keep a tighter hold of their kids, too.
Unbelievable!

That would be so surreal to see. Usually I say "whatever, they deserved it" but this time....I dunno. I guess because it's over something to simple. His parents are probably having an extra hard time with it, knowing it was so preventable.
Imagine being on the part of the ride that struck him! Creepy! I just love the summer stories of disfiguration and death in the amusement park. Yea couldn't have been that great of a hat if you left it on to go on the Batman ride...
Wow, but you know who I feel bad for? The people in the front car of that ride when it hit him. How horrific must that be?
ETA: I totally didn't see the post above mine. Oops. :-)
