Default fighting the clock- anti aging strategies

I've been considering my next PS procedure, and want to start small. Here's what I've been looking at:
    Botox
    Laser skin resurfacing
    Restylane
    Thermage

I've heard good and bad about all of these procedures, but only want to try one at a time so I can judge the effectiveness of the treatment. I really wish there was something to make my hands and feet look less bony, too. I think hands and feet give away a person's age before the face and neck do.

Any recommendations as to which I should try first?

i know 2 people who did thermage and threw away thousands they said it diesnt do anything really. so i would be wary of that. i would try the laser skin resurfacing and the restalyn, but thats just me.

Ive seen best results with laser skin resurcfacing.

To make your feet/hands less bony/veiny there is a procedure to transfer fat to the areas. Fat from your thighs is what works best. I think this is very costly though if I remember.

I worked as a treatment consultant at a medical spa and they stopped doing Thermage because too many patients had unsatisfactory results.

Everyone absolutely loved the laser skin resurfacing. It can takes years off someone's face. The procedure is a bit uncomfortable, and the peeling is fairly intense, especially between days 3 to 7. If done properly, the laser goes 10-12 times deeper than a strong chemical peel.

We had a few women clients in their late 50's who did the laser resurfacing monthly. It was overkill, but they all had the smoothest, softest, porcelain skin.

The laser removes the skin layer by layer and in theory, one can continue treatment to keep reversing the age clock. The results really are phenomenal.

This is a good before/after example of a 64 year old lady.

This woman has very deep creases and folds covering her whole face. Her results may not make her look 20 again, but she has definitely lost the majority of her wrinkles.

We had clients who were totally addicted to this procedure.

Wow, those pics are amazing! I want to do my whole body. I'm not that rich, though.

I'll give the laser a try first. It looks like it may make the botox and restylne unnecessary. The doc that did my boobs offers the laser skin resurfacing, and I trust him. He did great work on me and I'm very pleased.

I'll probably wait until winter to get it done. I spend too much time outdoors right now to stay out of the sun for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after (as is recommended by my Dr.).

Thanks everyone. I'll stay away from thermage. It is actually more expensive than the laser, too.

I've seen at least one plastic surgeon recommending Titan over Thermage. He agreed that in his experience, Thermage didn't really do anything beneficial.

How much does laser resurfacing cost on average? What's the recovery time like?

^^^The cost usually ranges between 1500 to 3000 per treatment, depending on the type of laser used and the expertise of the provider. Also, many places offer specials on package deals.

I've only had laser done once with an Erbium laser, this is a medium level and not as powerful as a CO2. They apply a topical anesthetic, but it's still painful. It feels like snapping a rubberband all over your face.

I never did it again because I couldn't afford to take an entire week off of work. My skin was lobster red, inflamed, raw, and peeled in huge chunks. It was gross. After 7 days though, it looked and felt great.

Hmm. I could swing a week away from work because I work mainly from home. (I work for a corporation, but they allow us to telecommute.) Snapping a rubber band all over my face doesn't sound like the greatest sensation, though!
