Default Does anyone know of programs to help w/skin cancer?

I have a very large mole on the side of my face, at my temple. It's quite ugly and I have wanted to get it removed for years, but I have been told it's to large and to deep for a lasering, it needs to be cut and stitched...it's just too expensive for me to afford.

well, my mole has been very sore and painful lately and feeling scabby. just now I touched my face and saw it was bleeding. It's time to get this fucker cut off before it starts to cause any problems. the last thing I need is skin cancer on my face.

But I can't afford to do it. When I had cervical cancer, a fund called the cervical and breast cancer fund paid for my surgery and after care.
I was wondering if there was a program like that for skin cancer, that would help pay to get this removed from my face. The last doctor I saw quoted me for $750 to get it removed.

So does anyone know of a way? thanks

You can always ask to do a payment plan. Most doctors will work with you if you set up something with them.

I'd also check some national cancer websites, they might be able to get you assistance or lead you in the right direction. Here is one I found from a quick google search, http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/f...ial-assistance
