Default Where to work for summer in Europe?

    Hi girls,

I am looking for place to work for this summer time in Europe. I prefere earning just with dances, no drinks consumation, so I suppose this system is just in UK and Ireland but I am affraid that this area will be death in summer. I will be happy for any advice or your experience about the clubs, I need to know also how much do I have to pay to the club....I was thinking about Lapello- Ireland, how is it there?

    Thanks to all of you.

If you go to germany will be expected to sell drinks. Each drink/bottle you sell you will make money off of. You wont be fined if you don't sell them tho, you will just make less money. You will be expected to have drinks. But it you do get hired by a club you will be paid partially when you work and you dont have any fees. The majority of money you will make will be on stage and selling drinks. If you speak English I am sure you will be quite popular, germany seem to enjoy native english speakers.

I've heard some good things about Germany,too.....

Some years ago i worked in Spain where i also had to drink. I would mainly order a non alcoholic coctail, or a non alcoholic champagne (awfullllllll taste-YUK) If I would sell a bottle, there where always ways to 'spill' some...... In the plants, hidden buckets, bartender helping to throw some away when client is not looking.......
That's the way to do it in most european countries.

I am going to Lisbon next weekend and will visit some clubs. I'll let you know if something good comes up! That is if you're interested in Portugal..........

I think you might be better off in the UK than in Dublin. There are a lot of clubs there now and one or 2 are quite dodgy, it's a good city to visit but not maybe to dance in.

There are clubs in UK seaside resorts like Bournemouth, Brighton etc. I'd avoid Blackpool as it's topless only and there are far too many clubs. A couple of clubs run in Newquay now which is very busy in the summer { surfing} also in places like Torquay or Exeter. As I have said on this board before I'd be careful either in southern Europe or the old Eastern Europe as most clubs there are pretty openly brothels. The further north you go { Germany, Sweden, Norway} the more straight the clubs tend to be.
