Default At the end of the night does the work you put in pay off?

Most girls complain about how their night went (I've done this before) but when they sit down and think they didn't put in enough effort to get better results

and some girls don't ever really try at all and make great money

which did you chose the one you selected?

Is the amount you make equal to less then or more then work you put in?

my shift is 5-6 hours long and i generally try to bust my ass. the exception is if i've been working a looooootttt of days in a row. then i start slacking a bit because of sheer mental/physical exhaustion.

Is your payout equal (in your mind) to the amount of work and time you put in?

doh! sorry. i forgot to add that part.

sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. sometimes i feel like i busted my ass and didn't make shit for money, and sometimes i feel like i busted my ass but i banked.

but if i -don't- try and then i don't make money, i will beat myself up about it.

i will say this though: MOST of my best banking days were spent not dancing or dancing very little. i don't really think that means i didn't "work for it". i just tend to do better with the older "conversation" type of customer.

today for instance, i didn't do a single dance, but i made 200.00 there was a good amount of girls too, so i didn't go on stage too much.

then there are days when i'm so exhausted because i've done maybe 15 dances (some being 2-4-1s), been on stage a bazillion times, and made the same amount.

    adding:

although i work hard, i WILL NOT sit with customers for free. if they aren't spending after a few songs at most i'm out of there.

so, yes i work hard, but i DO have a time limit. heh

I work like 7 hours at my club but sometimes I don't make anything and it frusterates me and I don't make it in a whole lot (which, I know, is worse). When I do work hard, I still don't think I've made enough. I'll bust my ass for $200-300 and I'm lucky if I have one day a week where I make that. The rest of the days, I'll try but it's a lot of sitting around after I already talked to all the customers.

I work 10 hours a night. I....... N-E-V-E-R.... make enough. No matter how well I do, I always feel that I deserve more. God, how I long for the magic days of stripping when 3G's was a bad night......... le sigh!

I work hard and the money is always worth it but I never feel the hours are. Like, I've had to work 30 hours straight and while I clocked home with over three grand, I'd have rather worked 10 hours and come home with a grand... especially since these long hours involved a lot of driving and my car is a V6..and petrol..

No! The work I put in does not match up with how well or bad do. I can have dinner and conversation and leave with a grand after a few good hours in the vip or i can hustle my ass off for 8 hours and bring home less than 500 bucks.

I try to work hard pretty much the whole time I'm in there! I can't bring myself to half ass either getting ready for work or working itself (usually lol), but that's probably partly why I stress myself out over the job.

Usually, the work I put in equals the money to make it worth it.

Of course there's some nights where it feels like people are just throwing money at me, and other nights where I try so damn hard and it's just not happening. These are few and far between though.

Usually if I make less than what I think is exceptable it's something that I did wrong and could have prevented so I don't get pissy about what I made.

If my work didn't pay off at the end of the night I wouldn't be doing this job.

I wait for people to come in. So, I picked 2-4 hours. Each of our shows lasts 20min each. So 6-12 shows but not on average. Some days are less but I might make the same as a day with 6 shows.

I pretty much work hard the whole time I'm there. I don't know what else I'd do if I wasn't working. There's no point in wasting time being there if I'm not going to maximize that time. And yes, I feel like it absolutely pays off. Hell, even a bad night for me is better than a bad night for girls who sit on their asses all night.

I am dancing from the moment I walk through the doors until I leave. The song starts and I start. It ends I collect and then walk 10ft over to the next dude and start dancing. I'll do this for 5-8 hours straight with maybe 4 -6 5minute breaks here and there....no wonder I usually feel like Ive been hit by a truck at the end of the night

Some nights I feel like I should have made a lot more for the amount of work I put in, but mostly I feel like my work effort is worth what I made.

that's so true. i don't ALWAYS work as hard as i possibly could, i will admit that. those times are nights when there's a ufc fight on and i've asked every guy in the place (which will be packed) multiple times and the lap dance area is empty. i know that if i keep trying, i'll get frustrated and pissed off at that stupid fight and it will hurt my moneymaking potential later. or something to that affect. i kinda pick and choose my battles, so to speak. but i dont sit in the dressing room, like, ever. (unless i start to have an anxiety attack and need to calm down)

but my manager is always telling me i'm too hard on myself. he tells me constantly that my bad nights are good nights to a lot of the (lazy) girls there.

I was in a rut of not working hard because I felt like all my effort was for naught and that the guys were just depressing. Because they were. When I'm in a non depressing club, I do tend to max out at 5 hours, no matter the shift. But yes, generally it's worth it-sure I want more, but as long as I kept moving and didn't sit around talking to timewasters, I'm happy. It's always less now than what we're worth, so I can't sweat that.

I'm really off and on. Especially during the week. Fridays always seem to be an uphill battle, where I work really hard but it never seems to be enough. Saturdays I smash it, but I work like 10 hours.

I tend to get really complacent about money, but I always work with my best friend, and she keeps me motivated. As petty as it sounds, I always try and make more than her, and she always tries to make more than me. We often work together though, and never cockblock each other.

The longer I have been employed somewhere, the more likely I am to slack off.

my friend doesnt work with me anymore but i ALWAYS tried to make more bc she was super competitive.. it would be funny to me if i beat her by like $20 or something.

i agree about the longer youre there, too. when you go to a new club its like youre trying to prove yourself, plus (i think) its more fun and just different so i try harder.
