Sorry to but in on your thread but I have another question to ask - I got a last minute offer to go to Denver, like tomorrow, and I read a few other threads and didn't really see the answer, can I just go and work or do all clubs make the dancers wait to be put on a schedule?

Diamond Caberet is the only gown club. Shotguns has dress codes that changes- like gowns form 7-10pm, whatever you want afterwards.

Most clubs will not allow you to work the night you audition... but you can usually start working the next day.

I think that Shotguns now made it so that you HAVE to do the amatuar contest on Thursdays to get hired. I am pretty sure about this, although you might want to call to double check. When I worked for PT's I was able to work the same day or next day. (They need a copy of your SS card and I.D. before you start)

I perennially get yelled at to wear "first date attire" at LaBo so I guess that can be defined as cocktail dresses or whatever (personally my usual first date attire is jeans and a cute top, which pisses April off to no end when I point out) but I've seen plenty of girls in gowns from time to time and I like to rock one myself when I feel it's appropriate.

oh no It was between PT's and LaBo for me, but cocktail dresses are so not my thing. Oh well.

um...one more question? I've still got an out-of-state license (I just moved here). Will that be a problem at any of these clubs? (Particularly PT's, since it looks like that's going to be my first choice.)

    ^^^ it shouldn't be a problem.

I've seen plenty of booty shorts and skirt sets at La Bo.

Yes...unless they are a "cigar bar". As far as I know, penthouse and diamond are the only ones left where you can smoke inside. Shotguns just got a patio for smoking. It's awesome!
