    Default NY for kids

Im taking my daughter to NY in August. We have 2 days to fill. I know Im going to take her to FAO Schwartz and to see the Statue of Liberty (Ive been there a dozen times and still havent done any touristy stuff!) Of course a drive through Times Square. I think all that should fill one day. Or maybe thats too much? Any other stuff to do? Im think Broadway show but I dunno...

Any other ideas for NY with kids?

Take a carriage ride around Central Park.

I loved seeing the Dinosaurs in the Natural History Museum, but I'm a nerd like that.

Hehehe.... sometimes word of mouth (or message board) is best.

    Kid friendly restaurants.... joy! http://www.timeout.com/newyork/kids/section/eating

Yeah TONYKids is awesome....a lot of free events listings, listings by neighborhood, and age group. Makes life easy-peasy.

Hahahahaha! Yeah.... it's really quite fun. There's usually a line-up of different horses and each carriage is a little different (color, decoration, etc.) She can pick out her favorite one... it's really a princess experience .... I'ma sucker for that stuff. Best of all, FAO is right across the street and a little down the block so it's the best thing in the world! OMG giant teddy bear plush toys!
