I'm trying to figure out how I've recently lost weight. It's probably because I was sick, but I haven't put anything back on and I'm starting to think it's because of this restaurant job? I'm on my feet and busy for about 7 hours straight. It's very very busy, and I think it's more physical than dancing even, sit I don't sit down at any point all for the whole shift (honestly- the place is very busy all the time).
So I'm wondering what kind of difference that makes on a day's calorie expenditure? I know my legs were sore when I first started, and I'm a runner! It's different muscles, but still. Anyone ever wonder what kind of difference your daily activities really make? Like if I worked the day job, and then danced at night, what kind of impact would that make on my energy output? That's about 12 hours of somewhat physical work, so one wonders if it's necessary to hit the gym that day, you know?
