Does anyone take Green Tea supplements? I've been taking them for a week now (when I remember oops) along with my Tonalin (again when I remember lol) I've been reading that it's good for fat burning. Any one else try this?

my bf has some green tea with hoodia... it seems to work fine.

i always thought it acts as a diuretic. i (used to but i'm not right now til i'm off all these meds) take dexatrim max which basically is vitamins, green tea, and a small amount of caffeine. as far as i can tell, it makes me pee a lot and thats about it. so that was just what i always thought the green tea pills would do, too.
it seemed to work for me, i used to take the green tea multivitamin back in the day. ive since switched to a megavitamin.

I think it made a little difference for me. But the tonalin alone does a good job.
I drink a lot of green tea too. I switched over from diet pepsi, and I do look/feel better.

I don't think green tea is merely a diuretic (unless caffeine is added) since I read that you can drink nothing but green tea all day and stay hydrated; caffeine content is usually pretty low.
On the other hand, diet soda CAN make you fat: basically, often people's bodies react to the sweet taste with a surge of insulin, which converts whatever other sugar is in your system to fat. So switching to green tea is likely to cause a positive change whether or not it has fat-burning powers. The tannins in tea are also strong antioxidants, and, I believe, dopamine boosters, which probably do something for your metabolism.
I have been taking it on and off for several years now. I don't know if I would say that it "burns fat", but I do think it helps with water retention. And it definitely improves my mood. BF takes it too, and he says he also feels less crabby when he takes it regularly.
