Has anyone tried them? I saw them on VictoriaSecret.com
They're flip flops that claim to tone your legs and butt. I want to order them but they're $50.. so I just wanted to see what everyone else thought?

i want to know if they work before i buy some.
heres a good review.
i think they wouldnt do much in the long run to make a noticable difference on someone who is already somewhat fit.
sounds like the belt that does situps for you.
im sure it could tone your legs up but certainly not more then the heels we run around in all night for work...
It's taken off after the MBT shoe. I'd look into them and go test them out. I love my MBT's. If I stand for LONG periods of time my legs actually start to hurt. There are little muscles that just don't get worked out as often. As far as the VS pair of shoes, I'm not so sure about them. MBT makes sandals and I would shell out the cash for them. Search MBT above and you should get a thread or two about them.

I saw them on the VS website too....I think its a marketing gimmic to buy overpriced flipflops. Just my two cents .
I bought theseNo major difference.
I think the heels work better than these shoes anyway as there is more of a lift, but I don't wear them everyday.
I thought flip flops were bad for your feet?
Why is that? ^
As far as I know, flip flops are only bad for your feet because of the lack of arch support. But these FitFlops seems to be shaped to fit a foot, rather than just flat like most flip flops are. So I don't think they'd be bad for you!
Researchers at Auburn University have found that wearing flip-flops alters the way one walks, changing the gait in subtle ways that can lead to serious sole, heel and ankle problems.
pasted from here.
I didn't bother to look at them but to do some leg toning just go to walmart and get some ankle weights...i used to wear them at a job where I was standing/walking 7 hours a day and they DID make a difference. I also used to wear them jogging but I have since turned into a lazy bum. 3 lbs on each leg makes a big difference! Of course, if you aren't wearing long pants you look funny.
I read that website. Those shoes seem an awful lot like my well broken in NAOT sandals.
The padding is great and completely has conformed to my feet. On the sole, the heel & toes have curved, so I do sway around while I'm standing. Seems like the same principle. I wear them daily in the summer, wore 'em in the water in Guam (no water damage!!) and they last well.
So yeah. Just love the shoes you've got.![]()

I wouldn't wear them just cause people on the mainland can't make a fucking slippah to save their lives! The straps are all tight and go too far back to help hold it to your foot. I've been wearing slippahs for years and my toes now have a natural sort of divet between them where they've molded to hold the shoe without that annoying clicking sound. I also don't walk any different in slippahs than in regular shoes cause i've been wearing the things for 20 fucking years. I have baby pictures of me in slippahs...walking in them is second nature.
Also, you can save your back, knees, ankles etc if you just evenly distribute the weight to the outside of your foot. Most people let their ankles roll in cause the muscles are weak. If you keep your weight on your toes and the outer edge of your feet it makes you stand up straighter, your feet hurt less, and it improves your balance.
See, no overpriced slippahs needed to get better legs!
