It's been awhile since I've been on here...I remember being on here looking for advice in my pre-dancer days...anywho, so I finally did it...I just moved back from NJ this past May back to KY (don't ask...lol).I danced at a couple clubs there in my short time of living there. I was a nervous wreck at first but after awhile I got the hang of things. Well, since moving back, I haven't been back to dancing. I went to two clubs who were really interested in me, but I never went back. Why? Well, #1, I really didn't want to work day shift which is all they were hiring for...where I live its really dead in the day. When I went to talk to the owner no one was in there. The dancers were at the bar drinking and looking really bored. Am I stupid for not wanting to work in the day when no one comes in?
And 2nd, I told myself that I wanted to stop with the dancing; more for personal and family reasons. But times are hard and I'm in need of money BAD! It's been hard enough for me to find a 9-5 job and every single day I've been contemplating on whether I should go back to the club and make up some lame excuse as to why I never showed up for work the next day. Sorry that this is super long, but I need some serious advice. Has anyone ever just said to themselves "I'm going to stop dancing" only to find themselves saying "I'm going to start dancing again"? Its so much that I have to do and I have a ton of bills to pay.Not to mention that the gas price is kicking our asses.
I just don't know what to do.
