Generally, that is caused by hormones. Often testosterone. Particularly if a lot of the acne is under the skin stuff that takes a long time to go away.
I have the same issue.
If you're on BC, changing the type can help, as some kinds help block the testosterone an d reduce the acne. Also, finding the exact right skin care for you, simply by trial and error will help some. It helped me a lot, and the routine that works for me, is not even close to what the "experts" told me I should be doing.

I've broken out on my chin a few times it was because of the gym. Touching handles..wiping chin...touching weights...touching chin = acne. If you don't get acne often I cleared mine up with neutrogena products.

I agree that it's probably your phone, or if you tend to sit with your chin in your hand, that'll do it too (all the dirt and oil from your hand gets into the skin on your chin, and the skin is more fragile on your face).
Be careful that any acne products you use don't dry out your face. A lot of them dry the skin, which leads to aging and also causes your skin to produce more oil to make up the difference, so you wind up with more acne. Moisturizer is your friend.
I second the hormone bit... My facialist told me that my chin breakouts are hormone related.
Really? My hormonal breakouts (period-related) are always on my forehead.

As you get older 25+ break outs on the chin are hormonal. I've noticed it on my cheeks under the skin if that makes sense.
Birthcontrol helps that supposedly. But yeah... fuck adult acne. Figures I'd get it now, since I was spared it as a teen.

I never got acne as a teenager. After I was 25 or so, I started getting big breakouts all over my forehead every month. I'm on the pill so it's probably not as bad as it could be, but I hate these little damn pimples. I do get a couple on my chin, but it's worse on my forehead. It blows.
I do find that cleansing and moisturizing every day helps a lot.
I get this too though it is mainly around my period. I tend to lean on my chin with my hand so i just try not to do that and make sure i stay strict with my skin routine. That makes them go away quicker.

Ha! Same here. Clear skin until about 26, then started getting breakouts around my chin area. Usually one or two big, cystic pimples and maybe a couple of other little ones.
Aside from regulating my periods, that's the main other reason I've stayed on BC even though I'm not in a relationship now.
Something else that's helped: sleeping on a silk pillowcase with my hair in a loose ponytail. Hair gets a lot of dirt in the air stuck to it thanks to styling products and natural oils and all that getting on your face while you sleep can't help any.

i found out that my previouse pill i was on (microginon) was the culprit for my acne, so the nurse changed it for me to Cilest, since then and also a change in my facial rutine, its cleared up alot, also i changed my make up too, which i descovered was makin me breakout badly. after all these changes, my skin is lookin alot better (except the horrid scarswhich i have no idea how to lesson)
Phone!!!! I couldn't figure why all of a sudden I started breaking out in the same place on my chin and park of my cheek. Someone mentioned it was probably due to my phone and I started sanitizing more often and I am not even kidding you, I have no more pimples in thsoe areas.
I too never really broke out as a teen and started having more pimples after age 24-25. Mostly it's hormones and around my period, but these particular pimples were ALWAYS there.....I'm telling you, it was my phone.
(just click to donate FREE food to those in need...REALLY!)
I was also told by my facialist that breakouts and stuff like sprouting hairs on the chin are hormone-related. However, I've ONLY broken out on my neck by the side of my jawline or ears for the past couple of years... and I have a terrible habit of propping my head up in those areas.
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.

Id assume hair on the face would be from lowered estrogen and higher amounts of testosterone. I've noticed peach fuzz on my face. I wonder if this is a sign my breeding days are numbered.
I'm going back on the pill I swear to god.

I break out on my chin when I've been making out.

I can't remember where I read it, but I did read once that acne that is attributed to hormonal changes mostly occurs on your chin, jaw line, and neck. I started getting it in those areas around the time I turned 30. It lasted a couple of years but thankfully it's pretty much gone now. Just hope you don't get the little rash like bumps on your upper arms...that was embarrassingThat only lasted for less than a year thankfully.

I seem to get it more when I dance, so I'm guessing club grime has something to do with it too. In the last few days, at least, I've been having good results with alcohol-based toner (to kill bacteria) immediately followed by moisturizer to prevent drying.
