    Default Lymphobiology?

    Has anyone tried this?
It is done by a spa professional with these suction cup and special gel they rub all over you .. I had one session on my legs and thighs
It is supposed to stimulate circulation and lymph drainage (which they say is the cause for fatty deposits, cellulite, and dull skin when your lymphnodes don't drain properly)
It was $100 for 1 hour, 1/2 hour on each leg and so relaxing
After my legs felt light and super tingly and tight

Im supposed to go back for 3 more sessions.. once a week and the lady said Id see dramatic results

I am super skinny everywhere but my have monster thighs which I am conviced are from years and years at a 9-5 sit down job... she agreed.

$100 seemed like alot but then I thought a massage is about that, my nails getting done is like $70 when you include tip (and pedicure) .. I spend $100 on food all the time that doesn't get eaten

Im going to do the 3 sessions more she recommended.. she then said 4 more after that spaced out for maxium results.. will do that only if after the 4th treatment I see a difference

She also sells creams and lotions and potions and said I needed to do a firming one .. really hydrating.. twice a day.. instead of trying to push hers which are $$$ she told me Clarins is really really good and cheaper

Just wondering if anyone has done this and results you had..

I web searched it but only saw one before after photo and no testimonials..
I think its kindof new.. its from France.. so that has to be good

Is this also known of as 'cupping'? If so, I have a girlfriend who was very badly scarred by it. Apparently her skin was very sensitive and it is very rare for this to happen... But, I'm not sure if it is the same thing.

Yes, this is the same thing as cupping. If done incorrectly, or on extremely sensitive skin it has the potential to be extremely dangerous....

Try searching for cupping instead of lymphobiology... I found a few sites.

actually i went to the website you sent and I dont think it is exactly the same thing.. same principle but when they mentioned the cup remains on one area for a certain period of time (minutes) that wasnt what happened to me
A little suction cup lifts the skin and stays maybe 2 seconds.. then she moves to the next area and massages the skin with her hand
I think I saw a photo of Gweneth Paltrow who has this done (Cupping) and it left welts ... like a normal side effect...
again this didnt even leave a tiny bruise.. nothing my skin actually was glowing like I just had a facial on my thighs

so if anyone is still reading this thread

i went for my second of four sessions

my legs definitly look better ...

i mentioned to my dr about the cupping thing and she shook her head and said this is totally different. Lymphobiology is very new in the u.s. and the only places to get it done is an office in LA and NY and here in where I am (Northern VA)

instead of risks of scarring she said it does the opposite.. i had bruises on my legs and she "drained" them and they became lighter..

google Jennifer Aniston.. she gets it done

Also this lady told me about a recent client that was going to be in a pagent and was thin and in shape but under certain lightings she looked bumpy and not smooth... after 8 sessions she said she was just flawless

4 sessions at $100 a pop once a week... like i said not alot of money for me considering how easy it is to blow $100 on nails, beauty products .. foooood

and then 4 more sessions spaced out however ....

for the inquiring minds.. ill post how my 3rd sessions goes next week
