My club likes to use slower songs for the end of the night like:
Gym Class Heroes - Viva La White Girl
R. Kelley - Down Low (Nobody Has to Know)
Outkast - SpottieOttieDopaliscious

My club plays "Chicago" by Frank Sinatra.
It's funny cuz I heard it in a restruant one night and I almost got up from the table like "time to go home!"
"I believe that if life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade.
And try to find somebody whose life has given them vodka and have a party."[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
"You're not too smart, are you? I like that in a man."

I've heard "Total Eclipse of the Heart" a couple of times at closing. Makes me giggle everytime.

"Na, na, hey, hey, kiss him goodbye" by Steam is what it was at the club I danced at when I danced.
I worked at a club in denver and they always played a really bad country song that was originally snoop d It worked pretty well on killing the mood and getting people out![]()
The club I worked at the longest used The Last Dance by Sinatra most of the time but if it was a cheap crowd we'd close with Hit the Road Jack by Ray Charles which we dancers would actually sing or rather scream, lol!

Either Semisonic-Closing Time or that annoying 'Happy trails to you!' ..![]()

usually really bad hiphop. Works better at clearing a room than anything else Ive ever seen.
dropkick murphys...not sure of the name of any of their stuff, it all sounds the same to me.

"I'm gonna have a drink and walk around, I got a lot to think about, oh yeah"---Concrete Blonde
At my club they play "Girls girls girls" but when I used to work in St. Louis they played the effin' Sesame street song!

The owner has set the last song as Eamon ~ Fuck it, don't want you back. It's pretty funny actually when this song plays, instead of I gave you all of my love they gave me all of their money :-) and they're not getting it back!!!
I haven't stayed until The End in a looong time. I'm an old lady now. lol
But the one I remember most is that "Closing Time" song by Semisonic. They played it consistently at Cheetah's so I always think of counting money whenever I hear it.
My favorite closing song of all time was for a goth bar here in Buffalo called The Continental, which is gone now. Every night they played Sinatra.
This song makes me all sentimental, remembering drunken dancing and smeared makeup:

its going to be jingle bell rock by lindsay lohan tonight. i have already decided.

so i lied, manager put a nix on jingle bell rock.
backstreet boys "everybody" it was
I used to play Oingo Boingo's Goodbye Goodbye. Seemed to get the message across.![]()

"Happy Trails" by Gene Autry this was in MO
