    Default Stripper Myth Busters Myth1

Want to be a true Hustler, Learn more about your business and maximize your return. If you work in a club, it's considered Fantasy Land, and for a damn good reason.

    1. The girls who show more on stage always make more money, I have to be really explicate if I want to compete in this business..

    BUSTED

A simple smile and eye contact bring more people up to the stage. Now if your willing to bear your soul for a dollar, then that is what you'll get a dollar. However, if some ask "Show me a little something" you have to 2 choices.

    Show it take the dollar.

    or

Smile and tell the customer that your "Stuff" is worth more than just a dollar, Smile again and take dollar anyway and thank them.

    Why?????

While the first option seems like the right answer, you'll only get the $1. Because after they have seen it you have lost your bargining power.

Now, if you opt for the second, you have challenged the customer. He will return with a $5, now you are back at square one. Repeat what you did before. REMEMBER TO SMILE. "Oh You're so Sweet, But baby that's just a five." Run your fingers through their hair and take that $5.

You now have $6 from just 1 customer verses the girl who showed the goods for the $1.

I will take them all the way to $20 and still not show the goods. Smiling all the while and being very very nice. I might even give them a peck on the check, but that's it.

Now lets review, 1 customer $1. or work every customer who wants to see the goods the same way, $1, $5, $10, $20, for a total of $36 then they usually give up, However, they will try again the next time they see you. If you continue to do this your revenue from stage will dramatically multiply. You will soon go from walking off with $5- $10 bucks to $50 - $100 by the end of the night. Remember your value keeps going up.

Men will always pay more for what they Can not have.

Work on your dancing at home. Be a quality Entertainer, ENTERTAIN. Know your music and put on a good show. Always look like you enjoy what you do, keep a smile on your face when you are on stage. Even if they aren't coming up yet. Copping an attitude on stage will only turn customers off.

Other pointers, Always take Good Care of your DJ! Tell him what you like, as far as lights and effects go. You scratch his back, and he'll scratch yours.

Most places guys don't even tip at the stage anymore. Besides, many clubs require the dancer to be at a certain level of undress by the end of her set regardless of the level of tipping going on.

Generally if the customer is demanding a certain kind of performance in exchange for a low level of pay, he won't cough up more $ if the dancer refuses, he will leave and find a girl who will perform the services he wants at the rate he wants to pay. Especially if there are more dancers than customers present, which seems to be happening more and more often in our new economy.

But, yes the suggestion of the OP would work great on a busy night where there are few dancers and many customers vying for the girl's attention.

I want to add that a better way to approach the situation would be to attempt an upsell when the customer offers a $1 for a peek. This would be a good time to sell a private dance for $20. He has already shown an interest in you and wishes to see more. Why not get him to buy a lap dance or a VIP show.

Forget $6 from the guy, get $200 out of him instead!
