Boyfriend and I are having an arguement. How do you pronounce hormones?
Is the first 'o' pronounced like the 'o' in Oscar or in oval?
Like 'whore- mones' or 'har- mones'?
Thanks so much, I know this is stupid.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.

Is your boyfriend from rural Utah? There is a rural Utah accent where /or/ is pronounced /ar/, as in "I eat my carn with a fark."
