Just tell them you need to free lance in the next week or 2 so you can come and go as you please.
tell them that you need to leave the club. You don't have to explain to them why. But you could tell them what you like about it and that you hope to be able to return in the future.
you're not an employee, so you don't have to "quit". If you want to return, just tell them you got a day job and will come back later. dont specify when later is.

You can say that you want some time off and that you'll be back. If you leave in a civil way they'll be welcoming if you want to come back. Don't need to tell them you'll be working for a different club. That would be TMI.

just tell them your taking some personal time off.

i have this prob too, if i land a place at the club i want to move to, i wont be able to work were i currently am, i dunno how to say goodbye without burning brigdes either, the girls are so nice, but im not gettin enough shifts or money![]()
Simply say you need to take your name off the schedule for a while. That's it, nothing to it. If they ask why, DO NOT say that you are going to another club. They might not let you return if you are working for the competition.
Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

personally i said i was going on holiday and never went back :p but thats flakey stripper territory.
Just say you would like to take some time off and will call if and when you are read to come back.

I've actually left clubs without any notice and they've hired me back... It's risky but hell, In Hawaii you don't even have to audition to get a job at a club... They were just happy to have me back!
but yeah I'd keep it on the DL if your going to go to another club... with management AND the other girls... you never know who's gonna let it slip. They HATE it when you go to work for the competition.
Other than that... yeah I'd say just tell them your taking a break and that you don't know when you'll be back
i'm actually not dancing right now. my last day working was the week of the fourth. club #1 forgot to schedule me for the following week and i just decided to take advantage of that and not show up at all. however, one of the managers did call me the other day (two weeks later) and asked if i could come in, but i didn't bother to respond. i think they know that i'm burned out after working so much in june. if you're on schedule and don't show up, that would probably look bad, but if you aren't, you could get away with not saying anything and then just claim that you didn't know which days you could come in bc you weren't on schedule.
when i tried to quit club #2, i just said it wasn't working for me, but then my manager said that he wouldn't put me on schedule and i could just come in whenever i wanted. so you never know, it doesn't hurt to ask. it depends on the club and how badly they need girls. the SC industry isn't the same as the real world, you don't need to give two weeks notice and a letter of resignation. however, i know some girls definitely try to give them one weeks notice.
it shouldn't be a big deal if they need girls. if the club is already full it might be trickier to come back if you weren't one of the top earners.

I've left mid-shift at lots of clubs I decided I wasn't into, and was always told I would be welcome back if I ever changed my mind. I try to present myself in a businesslike and professional way, and I'm thin and young-looking, so I think all of those things help.

I don't really even think it's necessary to say anything. Just don't schedule yourself. If they ask, you're taking some time off. Girls come and go all the time. Just don't throw a shit fit or anything and you'll be fine (and hell, even if you did, you'd probably still be fine!)
