Default Settle an argument for me...

So, my friend and I are trying to drink more water. 1/2 gallon a day to be precise. Does spreading it out/drinking it slow do more for you health wise than just chugging it all in the morning?

I would think that spreading it out of the course of the day would be better for you, but then again, I have no medical info to back that up-I'll have to do some searching. The only time I've heard of chugging that much water at once were from my stoner friends that were trying to pass drug tests, lol.

ETA: Here's a good article I found. Drinking to much water at once can be dangerous and potentially kill you.

I would think spreading it out would do better for you. Your body can only absorb so many nutrients at once before the rest is excreted. ie. peeing a ton.

Spreading out during the course of the day is best for you.

    HA! I win! That's what I thought but I wasn't sure.
