    Default Following the NASCAR tour

Hi. My name is Konrad Marshall and I'm a reporter with The Indianapolis Star. I'm writing a story about dancers who follow the NASCAR tour around the country, looking for work in various clubs as the races are held in one city, then another, etc. I'd love to speak with anyone who has had any experience following this kind of tour, or may know anything about when this kind of trend emerged. I don't check this board often, so if you'd like to help, please email me at [email protected] or call me on (317) 444-6305. Thanks so much.

I've never heard of any girls that follow nascar. I can tell you it sucks in Richmond when they come through. The clubs are far away from the track hey guys can't make it when the races is over, it's only OK if it rains a nd even then not much difference in $$ just crowded.

    This is a trend?

Haven't heard of it but would be interested to see how the story turns out nonetheless.

I'd say following motorcycles is a better bet. People should go out to both Indy & Laguna Seca for the MotoGP races... I bet if you took a poll, your average MotoGP fan has more disposable income than your average Nacar fan.

I've found that most Nascar fans are cheap, they just want to come and look and not spend $$

Nascar fans are drunk, smelly, rednecks, with no money to spend. If anything, I'd travel to AVOID Nascar, not follow it. It's the worst money of all the races here in Indy.

We used to travel around for Bike Week, that was cool.

I didn't know Nascar was big money though...

AGREED! I'd never follow NASCAR races around the country if my life depended on it. Those guys are so red, I need Visine to be able to handle it. I'm so disapointed that we lost the F1 Race, that was always the most $$ for me of the three races in Indy. International flava that loved some ethnic girls over the typical "All-American Girl." It'll be interesting to see what the Moto-GP race is like, an inaugural race for us this year.

Maybe it's me, but it's strangely satisfying when an outsider (no offense konrad marshall) gets totally schooled by all of the knowledgeable chicks on here.
I'm confused, but the Chewbacca Truffle Shuffle cleared it up. - Emily

dude, redneck bikers know how to throw down, i love it. party animals; those i can work with.

they won't even PLAY nascar races at any of the clubs i've worked at here. they'll put basketball or baseball or women's soccer on the tv or whatever but no car races. not trying to stereotype i guess but...

Interesting pickup tactic. I think there are some threads on the blue side on how to pickup strippers if you don't have any luck getting "volunteers" for your article.

I've worked race week in Mooresville for the 500 and it was an experience for sure. At a club right down the street from the track.

Guys don't buy more than 2 dances. They want you to sit with them all night and be all over their nasty wife and tell her how hot she is.

    Not worth it. At all.

They come to my club, since the owners of my club also own a NASCAR team. Its mostly the drivers that come in though. One year a driver was tossing $100 bills on the stage from the DJ booth! I know when they come around we're all there with bells on, lol. Getting 1-2 dances is the norm for my club though, we work on quantity not quality of customers.
