    Fake Tanner Recommendation Please

Yes, there are threads sort of on the subject.. I have seen a lot of you saying Sun that you can order online is an awesome one. Problem is, my photo shoot is on 7/27 and I don't want to wait for shipping. I was hoping to use it to even out my tan, as my arms, face, neck.. obviously the most exposed.. are the most tan on me.

I really don't want to go to a salon.. would rather use a light self-tanner every day of needed until the shoot. Something I can get at Wal-mart or CVS...

    Any ideas?

I like Neutregena mist...its easy to apply because its a fine mist and the can sprays upside down so you can get your whole body yourself. It doesnt get you as dark as I'd like though..I want to order the sun one

CK, does it go on evenly enough though?? I bought it when it first came out and it definitely did not go on evenly. I don't know how to describe it, but it was MicroMist Tanning....but it "sprayed" instead of "misted"....does that make sense? And if I tried to rub it in, it was even worse. Is it better now?

The Loreal Sublime gradual tanner. Apply it for 2 days before the shoot and you will have a niec even tan. its the only stuff I us, espicialyl for photoshoots, because the insatnt tanners tend to make you look orangy and streaky in photoshoots. The gradual tan stuff gives a natural looking tan.

I've been using CVS's generic of this. I use the deep and spray the shit out of myself. 2 days of dousing myself and I am swimsuit model dark.

Thanks, ladies. I appreciate your help.... esp Peanut Butter, gotta make sure it looks natural for the shoot. So two applications, one two days before, one day before.. thats what I think you meant.

Yeah Sun is good, but if you put on Sun and go under hot lights, it will melt off and make you all slippery. So Sun is good to use for days off from work/photoshoots, etc. Sublime is great b/c it dries fast, gives your skin a little shimmer, and it a few coats looks natural. Plus it won't melt off your skin under heat.

So yes, go for the Loreal Sublime. I recommend dark. Love it!

the dark sunsations brand isn't meant to put on and go out. the color in it that you see when applying it is your guide. that color is not an attractive color, either, lol. you're meant to shower and wash that off before you get to the color you're actually going to be. thats why its slippery and gross like that.. it isnt really melting off bc that part is SUPPOSED to be washed off.

veralynn, you can buy it at ulta though i've heard, and my shipping only took a few days, if that's the only reason you want something different.

Well, I just bought a new can of Medium (2 shades darker). I'm pretty pale, and last time I used the 3 shades darker one and it came out terrible. So I just sprayed my legs to test this stuff out. It did dry incredibly fast. It doesn't really smell bad either. I hope I sprayed it evenly though. I couldn't really tell.

Thanks CK. I'll let everyone know how it comes out.

I like Ocean Potion's Ever Glow... it's a lotion you can put on every day, but not a gradual, you look significantly more tan the first day. It's about $4 for a huge bottle at Wal-Mart.

I got L'Oreal's Sublime Glow. CVS had it only in Fair and Medium. I went for Medium... have it on now.

If only one of my cats would stop trying to rub on my legs.. not right now, kitty! Yikes!!

I think it's dry, hope I didn't put on too much, not very experienced with this stuff.. actually not experienced at all. My shoot is on Sunday, so trying it tonight will give me some time to adjust hopefully if I need to.

Are you talking about sunsation from sun labs? I buy it from online but you can also get it at sephora... it's more expensive, though. Wayyy more expensive.

I have to agree with most of you....Loreal' Sublime Glow (the spray) - in Medium. It's the best! I am able to use this on my face almost daily, no breakouts.

Yep.!^ It is a little pricey, tho. But great.
Have you tried Jergens? It's in a big beige tube, & is the gradual one. Altho they have one now that works in 3 days. I bought the lighter skin tone one last year, & still have 1/2 tube left. I saw the newer one that works in 3 days @ Target, inclued w/it was a mini sample of the darker gradual one. I'm going to try that, even tho I'm light, I do tan dark naturally.
