    Default Parasites

Im watching a documentary about parasites. I may as well be watching a horror movie. This is creeping me out badly. Tape worms
There are so many awful parasites but certain parts of the world have much worse ones, Im glad I dont live there.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

I once had a student whose family were refugees from Laos. His father died because of a twelve foot tape worm which was found in the autopsy. They guessed that he had ingested it in Laos as an egg or a very small worm.

My boyfriend who recently dumped me contracted some sort of parasites from drinking stream water. Derrrrr... welp it looks clean so I'll drink it derderder.

I'm so squicked by parasites that even though I'm heartbroken I'm kinda glad we broke up so I didn't have to be around to nurse him better from that!

Probably it was giardia. It's simple enough to purify the water so it won't make you sick. If someone is going to be out in the wilderness long enough to have to drink from a stream, they need to invest in a device such as one of these: http://www.nextag.com/camping-water-...er/search-html

Or it could be the cryptosporidium miraculous one week diet. A friend of mine lost a shit ton of weight essentially expelling fluids out of each end for a week. Yes filter your water before drinking. Two trips to the ER for dehydration. Water, water everywhere but nary a drop to drink.

Should I post the bot fly video?
