    Default Wedding Flowers

    OK, so here's the DL
I'm getting married outdoors and have one young bridesmaid. It will be a very small wedding.
I am wearing a cream formal dress, she is wearing a light blue bridesmaid dress. The question is flowers:
I KNOW I'm holding white Calla lillies. (can't get cream ones) I imagine about 5, handtied. I'm not sure if I want to use white ribbon or the blue color (we bought extra fabric from the dress). What do you think?
The next question is should I do mini callas for her, or hydrangea? I'm soo stuck on this. The problem with hydrangea is that they wilt easily and the heat could be a problem...or it might not. It's a touchy time of year.
Also..her's will also be white but should I tie with a white ribbon...blue ribbon...or make the tie itself small enough so you see mostly greens?
Bah..I'm sooo not good at this. I have two months to go. It took me 2 months just to decide what kinda cake.

I should add..there is only one florist close enough. So my choices are limited and I'm NOT using fake flowers.
    Thanks everyone!
    I'm not who I say I am.

I think you answered your own question... I would avoid the hydramgea. They're gorgeous, but they'll probably droop before the ceremony starts.

Personally, I love it when brides add a little color to a white bouquet- so of course I think you should tie your flowers with a blue ribbon. Your BM can carry the mini callas with a white ribbon, but I think the simplicity of carrying a single stem of a full sized lilly would be pretty too... plus it would eliminate the ribbon all together.

Honestly, for a handtied bouquet with all the same flowers, you could DIY if you have the time and/or gumption.

I would probably use blue for my own so in the pictures it'd be obvious my colors were cream and blue. I'd give the bride's maid the white one.

Blue ribbon and mini callas, totally.
