I've been on the same BC since I first starting taking BC. Im 28 now and Im still having problems with occasional breakouts. So maybe it's time to try a new BC pill?
Are there any that are known to be good at controlling breakouts?

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

Yaz ...

It's been my experience that not everyone experiences clear skin with BC, just a thought.

Does Yas cause weight gain in most women tho?
Yeh I know it's not a sure thing but I thought it might be worth a try.
I take Levlen ED. I think it's a pretty low dose. I dont know a lot about BC.

No weight gain here. I asked my personal physician about that as well and she says NADA.

^^
excellent, thank-you so much.
I dont know why i have never thought to ask for a different one before. I guess Levlen ED seems to suit me well except for the skin, although I don't know the exact cause of the breakouts.

My skin was lovely on Cilest, sadly I had crazy mood swings from hell![]()

When I was on Ortho TriCyclen, I used a generic brand.. it was like 10 bucks per month![]()
I think it was called Ortho TriCyclen Lo
What about Alesse?
^^ that one made me a lil nauseous
but I'm sensitive

i used to be on microginon but had it changed to cilest and my skin cleared up, no weight gain on either of them, have had sore breasts for last 6 months on cilest tho, but its not as bad as when i first started cilest, no other problems tho, ive heard diff pills work diff for diff ppl so i suggest you jus go by trail and error.
jess xx

Yaz is the only BC pill that didn't make me so nauseous that I thought it was morning sickness... yuck, that's what BC is supposed to prevent!
I did notice my skin clearing well with it, Nuvaring was good for my skin too but it made my breasts hurt somethin awful.
So yeah, I'd def. recommend Yaz.

I was prescribed Diane ages ago to help my skin.
Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
