Does phentermine really work well in rapid weight loss?
Does phentermine really work well in rapid weight loss?

not really. And it's so ridiculously easy to build up tolerance to it. After a few days, a half won't work anymore, so you have to take a whole one to feel any effect...and then a few days later, one's not enough, and so on until you feel like utter shit. Plus phen is basically an amphetamine, which means it comes with a CRASH of speed-like proportions after you quit taking it.
Maybe it works better for other people; this is just my two cents. I'm not trying to be all preachy and "that's bad for you!"...just saying it was a complete waste of my money.

I used it last year and lost 65 pounds over a period of 3 months. I was under close supervision by my physician, walking 1-3 miles a day, and dieting. I remember my dad being on it a few times and he didn't lose any weight. I stopped walking & slacked off on the diet, and I'm yo-yoing about 10 pounds now.
So in my experience/opinion, it worked pretty well, but it's only one tool and it worked as well as I worked it. I'd recommend Alli first; it's not a stimulant and it still gets good results for most people I know.
bump. does anybody have any personal experiences on phentermine? thanks!
A relative of mine has been taking it for a few months and she has lost at least 35 lbs. She did have to go to a special doctor for weight loss to get her prescription though and she is required to go twice a month to get check ups and make sure she isn't having any adverse side effects to it. She did build up a little bit of a tolerance to it, but so far the weight is staying off.

I recently took it for about three weeks and dropped about 11lbs. I had to stop because I got a sinus cold and didn't want to take it with cold medicine. I got mine over the internet.
^ What site ? if you dont mind sharing. or PM me

Fourth it! PM me too please?
The one site I used to order from...that was like 5 years ago, and there's no way I could remember the URL...if it's even still running.

I would also like a PM about the site. Thanks bunches.

It works fantastic for me. Really energizes me and kills my appetite. I've never had to drop more than a few lbs so never taken it long enough to build a tolerance, but I know many people take it for 5-6 days then skip 2.
I won't mess with ephedra anymore, I just use phentermine. More stable, predictible results and easier to get. (I just have a slightly overweight friend go to the diet Dr for me.)
So this is legal through a doc?
But I'd like a PM too please... that would be very helpful.
I would also like the webiste for this please.
Susan can I get a pm too? Thankx

I was taking some that I had left over from an order about a year ago. The website was custom hrt but they are no longer up and running. I've seen an ad for it on myspace but I havent' ordered from them. I'm almost out myself so I need to look into getting more from somewhere.
why not just use Adderall?
I have found this site www.pricebusterrx.com but I have never ordered from them and don't know anyone who has. Can anyone here vouch for their legitimacy?
i'm on phentermine right now.
my personal experience with it has been varied. if you have problems with anxiety and/or depression, it's not a great idea to take it for any extended period of time at all. after 10 days straight on it, i was hallucinating and seeing a reflection in the mirror that was about 40lbs heavier than what i actually am. i seriously thought i was going insane and was hiding under a blanket hyperventilating because i knew what i was seeing wasn't right but the image wouldn't go away. it was awful. if you have anxiety or depression or body image issues, that shit will mess with your head BAD.
however, i've found if i take phentermine on tues/wed/thurs it just makes me super happy and energetic and hyper, i don't eat much and i pee out all my water weight so i always feel heaps skinny on the weekend for work, and it doesn't make me crazy if i space it out and take a few days off in between.
i found a dodgy doctor who wrote me a prescription for it so i can get as much as i want.
yeah adderal is great for weight loss. you can't get that here but i take dexedrine which is similar. dexedrine is dextroamphetamine which is half of the chemical ingredients used in adderal.
pretty much any drug that is suffixed with "mine" is gonna rip the weight off you... dexedrine, duromine, phentermine, sibutramine, methamphetamine... they all make you skinny.
haha. i swear sometimes im like a walking pharmaceutical encyclopedia.
Do you have to take the pills every day? What I mean is- if you stop, does the weight come right back?
yep, you take one pill first thing in the morning. and seriously, take it the minute you wake up. phentermine majorly fucks with your ability to sleep. generally on tuesday nights i sleep like 3 hours max. i went to my penthouse shoot on 45 mins sleep cos the phentermine kept me awake.
So, it is ongoing then?
Like, if I reach a weight I want do I stop or just smaller doses to maintain?
Also- is this something the body can build resistance to, or would I just keep losing weight?
phentermine is prescribed to people who are severely overweight due to have issues with over-eating. what it is designed to do for those people is teach the brain better eating habits, by reducing the appetite. so for someone who is severely overweight, it teaches them to not eat so much, and they generally stay on it for long enough for the brain to learn better eating habits.
so yeah. for someone who doesn't have an over-eating habit and isn't overweight, and just wants to lose weight because they're lazy or want an added boost to their gym workouts or whatever, the long-term effects aren't going to really be very dramatic.
yes, it'll make you lose weight fast cos you'll basically starve yourself and not even care. when i was on it for 10 days i was eating around 300-400cal/day and felt no hunger whatsoever. now i take it 3 days a week and basically don't eat for those 3 days apart from like a banana and an ultraslim shake and maybe a slice of toast.
everyone who i know who has not been overweight and just taken it anyway for a long period of time has gained the majority of the weight back once they went off it.
