Agreed. But Angelina Jolie was born for that part. A few years ago i'd have said Jennifer Connoly.

Kate Beckinsale would make a great though. She looks like Talia stepped out of the comics!

would fit Nolan's more realistic take on the Batman family. As would (Zhang Ziyi, anyone?).

I really don't know who else they could use in this series other than Riddler or Penguin (And even Penguin's pushing it). Man-Bat, Killer Croc and Clayface are pretty much out, because they are so sci-fi and/or cartoony. It'd be stupid to use Poison Ivy.

Please no Catwoman. That character just does not translate to the movies. Always looks ridiculous.

Well, there has never been a serious attempt to do Catwoman. Burton's catwoman couldn't have been any farther from the Selina Kyle of the comics if it was on the moon! Why do female superheroes always get re-imagined as mousy librarian types when they get on the big screen, in 70 years of comics Catwoman has never been mousy. Catwoman is a Cat-Burglar, that's it. She's never been evil, just totally amoral. If they would make an attempt to do that rather than some hot chick's best Julie Newmar impersonation, it could work. Hell, they finally got the Joker right after decades of cartoons, movies, and silly spoof TV shows.

And that monstrosity that Halle Berry made isn't worth mention (But that wasn't friggin Catwoman, for starters Halle had friggin superpowers, secondly she wasn't Selina Kyle and wasn't in Gotham City... that was NOT Catwoman).

Penguin could work, in a supporting role, as the sophisticated, non-insane version that has been used of late (just limit the umbrella gimmicks to a knife or gun). I believe both he and the Riddler have apparently given up supervilliany for the time being, even helping Batman out on occasion. Given Nolan's track record, I think he could make even some of the zanier villians work. I'd like to see him tackle Mr. Freeze, just to make up for what Schumacher did to him. Watch the animated episode "Heart of Ice" to see how great Freeze could be.

    The Ventriloquist
, though, really would be pushing it!

I imagine the original plan was to use the Joker again (perhaps with Harley Quinn along), although they would likely be extremely reluctant to re-cast the role.

Let us all give thanks, though, for if Schumacher had not been stopped, we'd be seeing Egghead and King Tut (played by Newman from Seinfeld).

^^ Portland is full of the places that inspired the Drafthouse, the McMenamin's chain. I like the Kennedy School 'cause it has loveseats.

I'd like to see Bane to make up for what Schumacher did to HIM! The guy's supposed to be like an evil version of Doc Savage, incredibly intelligent, Physically perfect, and expert in several fields. Schumacher didn't even give the guy any lines beyond "ARRRRRRRGH!" Considering he's the only one that ever straight up defeated Batman head on, that could be amazingly cool if done right.

Aww, that's a hierarchy system though so you have the fancy people sitting next to the people who pay regular price... in PDX we have lots of brewpub theaters that show 2nd run movies for $3! They also serve food like pizza. They are 21+, and since the movies have been out for a while they tend to be not too crowded.

Nonono.. same theatre not cinema or whatever... like... you can pay $30 and get into the room with 30 people all Gold Class or $12 for the room with 200 people all paying $12... but they're both at the same actual theatre.. they just have the option. You usually have to book a week in advance for Gold Class though.. because the seats fill up quick.

I saw Sex and the City and drank like 3 cosmos during the movie while reclining in a soft velour sofa with a cheese platter... be jealous

The Muvico in Boca Raton has this..the Premiere seats are upstairs...the reg seats are downstairs. They have a restaurant there you can have dinner in and you can sit in comfy seats with a glass of wine while you watch. Havent done it in a long time though. You also get free valet parking with a Premiere ticket.

Is that for the same viewing? 'cause what I mean and am saying poorly is that you get the entire movie to you and those thirty people... another movie, like 5 doors down, might be playing at the cinema. Like, no special cinema uses Gold Class.. they almost all do.. but they're their own special room and area of the theatre... they even have red carpets and lounge rooms and bars in the seperate foyer just to make you feel more stuck up.

But yeah... lovelovelovelove it. Nobody ever talks in a Gold Class movie.

Yeah this is completely different.. whole seperate rooms.. but that sounds super cool and probably saves them money from showing two of the same film at the same time.

My regular's wife has a Batman fetish too, and he said she wanted him to buy a suit. I told him to bring the mask to wear in the CR lol

And I'm TOTALLY buying this on DVD to use solely as porn.

Christopher Nolan has already stated that there will be no Catwoman or Penguin in any of his series.

Lets hope so. I don't think I can stand another bad Catwoman.
